Yes, it's cheap. It costs very little to eat quite a lot. It's a bargain, a steal. But put all that to one side and all you are left with is a glorified cafeteria and awful food. The staff are nice and the service quick, but you are likely to feel rushed. The seating is utilitarian rather than comfortable, and... More

The $6.99 lunch special is so worth it. -water/tea -miso soup and salad -4 pieces of salmon sushi and 8 pieces of salmon/avocado maki. I go here at least twice a week. The service is fast and the food is filling! The quality of ingredients is fresh as well.

I have been to this sushi restaurant in the past, as it was always a favourite with my friends. Decided to visit again last night, and am I glad I did. My friend and I were impressed with the service, the quality of food, and the prices. Our portions were quite large, more than expected as we ordered appetizers as... More

We had only a little time before going to a movie and the waitress advised us to forgo the all you can eat option and choose a bento box. Great idea. She was aware that we were in a hurry and so put in a rush order. Very thoughtful. Our box came with miso soup and a little fresh salad.... More

If you are looking for reliable sushi, fresh and good dollar value this is the place. I lived in Toronto for a period of time and this is by far one of my favourite places to stop in at or grab take out or have delivered. It's almost always fresh (OK, a few times, I wasn't thrilled, but I'd say... More

This area is surrounded by several restaurants, especially Japanese food, but at least this place has good food that you won't regret by randomly picking.

Good service and great sushi! We visited for dinner and the restaurant was hopping. Lots (10+?) of vegetarian sushi options (this is so hard to find!!), priced from around $4-7/roll. Plus, of course, non-vegetarian options as well. The menu is quite extensive, including non-sushi dishes as well. My husband (who is a non-vegetarian) and I tried several different sushi rolls,... This was a really disappointing meal. The food wasn't fresh -- the salmon maki was actually inedible because it was sooo chewy. The atmosphere is chaotic and the service is luke-warm. There are lots of good sushi places in town, in fact, Sushi on Bloor is just a few doors down and is MUCH better and cheaper too.

I came here with my boyfriend this past weekend after hearing about this restaurant through various social media outlets. We opted for the all-you-can eat and it was the worst sushi either of us have ever had in our lives. We started with salads, soup, chicken teriyaki, and short ribs - the dressing on the salad was creamy and tasted... More

I often order grilled squid as an appetizer and the dish that was brought to my table was very clearly rancid and off. Either it was the squid or it was the sauce, but there is no doubt that it was rotten. The floor manager denied that my dish was bad although he later admitted that he had not tasted... More
