When you go to a touristy chain restaurant, you're not expecting to get your socks knocked off - but this place left me wanting to rename it "Mr. Green gee I wish I'd spent money some place else". First off, lose the descriptor "fresh juice" on your margarita's - you're not fooling anyone with that dollar store mix. Second, the... More

Maybe I made the wrong choice. My experience was to receive average quality food. Service very friendly and surroundings really pleasant but I do go to a restaurant to eat and would like to appreciate the food too.

Everytime I come to Toronto, I try and eat at Mr. Greenjeans. I enjoy their appetizer macaronie & cheese which can feed two people as a meal. The service is great and the staff are very friendly.

This place seems to get worse with each passing year. You’re paying for the location, and that’s about it. No one in our group was impressed with the meal. Do not get the veggie burger. In the past it was good, now it tastes like wet cardboard. Even with the Entertainment Guide discount, this was not worth it. The ‘Hostess’... More

An excellent bar with a very professional and attentive bartender .... awesome meatloaf!! Service can vary in the restaurant itself, but the bar is always excellent!

Wow, our friendly waiter confirmed that it has indeed been open for 37 years and it has outlasted all of its competition. Why, we wondered? He suggested that Mr. Greenjeans has continued to alter its menu to conform to changing tastes. Makes sense whereas at Tobey’s, you got a hamburger, period. So long Tobey’s. Going up the escalator from the... More

Once our waiter realized our party of 6 was only ordering less costly items, his demeanor seemed to change and we barely saw him the rest of the visit. Good thing too as the food was nothing to rave about. To cut costs, instead of french fries, they give you a small handful of potato chips. Wow, that's classy. If... More

We found the food to be surprisingly good at more than a reasonable price considered it was located in the Eaton Centre. We were expecting more of a touristy type of overprice low quality resturant but this was not the case at all. Decor was a bit dated but the staff took great care of us. You may want to... More

As a family w/young kids it's fun. We had great service and good food. Nice decor and ambiance. We were pooped from a day of sightseeing and late day shopping (how great that Eaton Center open till 9:00 on a Saturday!), and this was just right for where we wanted to end our day.

We stopped for dinner before a show. Mine soup was barely warm, and my drink a bit off. Was disappointed in the other starter we'd ordered. Even though starters and sides were half price, I was relieved that I didn't have to pay full price for what we got.
