Very Good!

Great fresh food! Very cozy. Friendly staff. I was surprised that they sell Belgian beer (bottled only) there as I thought it was a dessert place. They have everything!

My wife and I met our daughter for lunch. While you order at the counter the meals are brought to you by the excellent wait staff. My wife and daughter ordered a spicy chick pea with veggies wrap on a pita; I ordered the BLT with avocado. They loved the pita (5 stars) which was huge. My BLT was very... More

A great find on the Danforth! It's not Greek food but a cozy casual cafe with delicious homemade food! You order at the counter and they bring the food to you! Huge portions!

Located in Greektown, at Danforth Avenue and Logan, this cafe features freshly-made salads, soups, wraps and entrees, many of which will appeal to vegetarians. Busy and bustling, with lots of locals. My favorites? The veggie club with avocado, tuna cakes and the Nicoise salad. They make the best vinegrette. Have been eating there for years, and it's the sane every... More

When I have been eating rather poorly, I head to Mocha Mocha to have a healthy meal freshly prepared. It is a noisy, busy place with a cafeteria self-serve vibe. You order and the ladies bring the meal to your table. I love the ham and cheese crepe. Tomatoes, avocado and salad piled high. Desserts are so good too, the... More

Everything one wishes to order is displayed under the glass at the counter. My friend and I ordered the vegetable strudle which was a sizable chunk of broccoli, spinach, egg and feta overlapped with pastry. This was accompanied by a generous salad of various lettuces and vegs. There was a dispenser where one could replenish one's water. Once the order... More

The pea soup was excellent. The veggie lasagna was excellent. Most dishes are vegetarian and the food is well prepared. You select from the counter and then it is served to you on plain tables. The restaurant is not set up for lingering. Definitely a place to go on the Danforth if you want a quick bite to eat that... More

I like the atmosphere here. Unpretentious and friendly. Can be a bit crowded and noisy at lunchtime but I love the food. Simple and healthy and fresh. Could not ask for more! Except maybe a coffee afterwards at Athens Pastries!

Having dined in some of the world's top restaurants, I will say that the food is excellent here. Food-wise alone, I would choose to eat here over many other fine-dining restaurants in the city. Food is consistently delicious and fresh. Always generous helpings. Prices are very reasonable for the value. Friendly helpful staff. "At-home" atmosphere. A hidden gem on the... More

At the corner of Danforth and Logan. Amazing salads, breakfast, crêpes, sandwiches, salads aaaaand chicken quesadilla, served with a ton of salad, salsa and sour cream. I've had many quesadillas but this one is by far the best.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
