Description: Located close to Toronto's Yorkville area, Mistura opened in October of 1997 to rave reviews and continues today with the same ideals. It boasts excellent quality, seasonal menus prepared Chef Massimo Capra's way and served by the professional and knowledgeable team. Mistura is about hospitality that's fun and comfortable, set in an elegant candle-lit atmosphere. A contemporary Italian cuisine reflects a simplified yet refined approach to taste. An extensive wine list, including wine from some of the world's finest vineyards, and an attentive, knowledgeable staff add to the appeal. Perhaps you prefer a more intimate, private setting. Mistura's private dining room holds 14 people, while the semi-private dining room holds up to 40, to cater to your more private functions.

When plans for dining out comes to mind. my first thought goes to Mistura. I can rely on the food being A1, with a variety of good choices. The lamb is always excellent and so is the duck....the beet risotto.......the best ever! Dessert is also great. This restaurant is my first choice if I have to take guests out and... More

We visited Mistura on a Saturday night during TIFF in Toronto. It was frankly one of the few places we could get a table at the last minute. Having never eaten here we were somewhat nervous as our friends were quite particular "foodies". We were all pleasantly surprised by the dishes, the food was very good quality and the menu... More

mistura is almost institutional by toronto restaurant standards: predictably well prepared food, cordial, if slightly obsequious, service, much fawning over regular clientele. the meal i had with my friends was well, above average - my sole complaint, and this applies to most higher end establishments in town, is that special items are mentioned without their corresponding prices. the menu lists the... Our neighbours invited us here for dinner. I ordered from the three-course Summerlicious menu for $45: minestrone soup to start, followed by the Cornish hen with panna cotta for dessert. The minestrone came out in a large dish and was impressive...I didn't expect these portion sizes with Summerlicious. It was very thick and flavourful. The Cornish hen also surprising, it... More

Very good service and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very attractive. Will certainly return. If one doesn't order too many extras the price can be kept at a minimum, otherwise it can get expensive.

Firstly, I love white table cloths @ a restaurant- it just makes the meal that much more upscale. The food is excellent and I highly recommend the lamb. Our waiter was a bit standoffish but I found the rest of the staff super friendly and accommodating. Finish with the panna cotta -the best ever and nicely presented with sliced fresh... More

We visited Mistura with a group of ten friends. We had a great time and delicious food. The waiter was very personable and told us everything on the menu was good. After our visit, we had to agree. The atmosphere was very sleek and modern, and the staff and owner were warm and friendly. We will be back to visit... More

I love a restaurant that is a 'foodie destination' while still keeping true to its original MO. This restaurant has top service and ambiance of a fine restaurant without any of the pretense and a truly remarkable and friendly staff. From the moment we entered until we left…I can only say Bravo …to all at 'Mistura'. We settle into our... More

I visited Mistura a couple years back actually, but it was well worth the visit for my birthday. The food was simply the tastiest dishes I ever tried before and the presentation of the food was amazing. I tried a couple dishes and we had the opportunity to meet Chef Massimo after our meal it was really cool he came... More
