My wife and I enjoyed a terrific meal at Marcello's tonight. The food was tremendous, and the portions were generous. The fazzoletto appetizer was awesome!! The pastas were perfectly al dente and generous. Our server didn't miss a beat. This restaurant will work for anyone, including families with younger kids. Be prepared to have leftovers.

I've been eating at this wonderful restaurant for more than 25 years and I've never been disappointed! The wood-fired oven pizza's are simply delicious (and there's lots more yummy choices on the menu in addition to pizza). The serving staff are always pleasant and the family-friendly atmosphere has always been a constant. We just love eating here.

We visited Marcello's for lunch on Saturday after a morning of furniture shopping. We were driving back from the Design Living Centre on Castlefield, and I remembered this restaurant as we were passing St. Clair so I turned around. It's been at least 7 years since I've been to the Toronto location (we visit the Vaughan location a few times... More

Have frequented this neighbourhood restaurant for many years. Always a mixture of families, friends and couples. Attentive staff and great pizza.

Visited Marcello's May 14 with my husband for my birthday dinner. We started with fried calamari (best anywhere...self proclaimed fried calamari connoisseurs) and the saffron arancini stuffed with mozzarella. They were both delicious. We then followed with the Terra pizza (roasted potatoes, red onion, spinach, pancetta and mozzarella) for myself and Fettucini al Salmone (pasta with smoked salmon) for my... More

I've been here twice and the first time must have been ok because we went back again a couple of years later. The food was really disappointing. The tortellini pasta was cold, but the sauce was warm. The rose sauce was very salty and the just lacking overall in other flavors. My cousin had a pizza and that was quite... More

A friend of mine who lives in Corso Italia introduced me to the restaurant. I ordered Fettuccine Afronzo and Tiramisu and enjoyed them very much. I can't wait to go there again to try something else, too. The staff is very friendly.

We went there as a family after a day of walking the city. We were hungry and the food was scrumptious. I would go back in a heartbeat

The pizza prepared here is very delicious. Thin crust with a perfectly doughy handle -I don't noramally eat the part of the pizza without the toppings... The prices are a bit high though.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
