We went here for a private party, and it was a fantastic venue. They have a great room in the back for groups of, say 10-20, and the staff is fantastic with groups. The food was very good (especially when you think of food for a group), and the service impeccable. The whole restaurant has a really nice vibe, with... More

This is a small quaint dinner on the Danforth, BUT, our food experience was not great. My girlfriends & I were there on Friday, Dec. 11th. There were 6 of us & we all had wine & dinner. Our orders varied & we were all disappointed with our meals...I ordered their Angus $19 burger which was NOT gourmet, the ceaser... More

I have gone to this restaurant several times and always had fantastic food. This night was really bad. The risotto special was crunchy and not cooked. many of our meals were very salty. The service is always pleasant and as I said, normally the food is great.

Lolita's Lust at conception was truly a restaurant ahead of it's time on the Danforth. Has to be in its 15th year + and we have never had a disappointing meal or experience at this eclectic and unique restaurant. If you have never been do yourself a favor and check it out. If this is somewhere you already go support... More

Fantastic food and wine! Always enjoy LL and have been going since 1993. Been a while since I've been but will make sure to go back next summer when I visit the tundra during its thaw! ;)

This place served up some delicious food with great attentive service. Well done. And the best part - lighting was perfect and this month BYOB was free (Oct 2015). Maybe they will continue this dining perk.

Used the location for a business function. Had a dinner with 10 at the table. They were very accommodating and found a location that was away from the crowd (they weren't too busy that night). Service was friendly and helpful. Menu had a nice selection of dishes with some interesting appetizers. Wine and beer selection was good. My only complaint... More

We came in for a few apps and some wine. We chose the carpaccio and bone marrow. Both were excellent and the service was friendly and attentive as well. Our server picked her favourite wine for me and it was great. The complementary bread was a nice touch as well.

Fantastic place to have an exquisite meal on the Danforth. I highly recommend the braised lamb shank. Great atmosphere and a friendly staff always make for a wonderful evening. Fridays and Saturdays they usually have DJ's playing and people dancing from 10 til 2.

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
