Description: Le Papillon on Front is located in the heart of Old Town Toronto. Inside of a beautiful Old Town Toronto building with exposed brick walls and high lofty ceilings sits the beautiful venue for Le Papillon on Front. It's exposed brick is complemented well by the aged hardwood floor and perfectly soft lighting. The venue suggests a lovely mix of romance, comfort, and of course, the classic French bistro atmosphere that has followed Le Papillon to all of its locations. In the warmer months Le Papillon on Front even creeps its way onto Front street, giving a beautiful view of the Flatiron building as well as the CN tower in the distance. With a closed in patio adorned with wonderfully arranged planters you experience a private feel, even while sitting on the heart of Front Street.

Boyfriend and I went for lunch with the Summerlicious promotion, $15 per person for a three-course meal. It's a very short walk from Toronto's Union station, and upon arrival it's hard not to ignore the atmosphere. It is very well-decorated, exposed brick, warmly lit, with artwork in the art deco style. The restaurant also has a terrace, adding to the... More

Great food, atmosphere and service. We both had 3 course meals and loved everything. The French onion soup is a great starter. Duck entre and tourtière pie were delicious. We will go back.

I reLLY LIKE THE FRENCH ONION SOUP. I really like the French onion soup. They were generous with the pre fix dinner. We were served with salad, soup, main course and dessert. The atmosphere is pleasant. We will definitely go back in the near future.

We chose this restaurant on Mother's Day, we were in Toronto on business and were expecting everything to be packed for lunch. They found a table for us no problem and I was very happy with how charming it was inside. Love the brick walls. I had the specials of the day which was. Peameal sandwich with pear and cheddar(... Went here for an early dinner on a Sunday. A few people on the patio and a few more indoors. Service was very quick which was great because I was starving! Had the pork medallions with vegetables and a side salad. Great large portions and was priced right, for downtown. Lots to choose from on the menu as well. Definitely... More

Since we don't live in Toronto it is always hard to find the perfect place to eat. Attending a show at the sony centre brought us in the area. Le papillon looked very inviting walking by. The friendly host was able to get us a seat right by the window. What a treat! Alex our waiter was amazing. He was... More

From the off Le Papillon on Front gave out a great Vibe. I called to make a reservation and the lady I dealt with was pleasant and welcoming. On arrival at the restaurant - the sun was shinning and the patio was buzzing, drawing you in. Inside was a lot bigger than I expected. The décor and layout were beautiful... More

I do miss the old world Parisienne atmosphere of the original Papillon, but this one is certainly trendier and very nice. This time I was here for brunch. We both had eggs benedict which was good. Loved the frites style of French fries that came with it (and I'm not usually a big fan of fries). But the dessert was... More

Reminiscent of Quebec, although the food not on par. The food was very good, but not outstanding. Generic bread and packaged butter. Decent chopped salad with goat cheese. Onion soup is excellent. Duck confit was not very moist, but the sides were very good. The bread pudding dessert was exceptional. Service was adequate, while ambiance was open and had some... More

Nothing special. OK food for expensive prices. Must say that the dessert was AMAZING! I would go there just for the special bread pudding dessert and coffee. Well-worth it. The sugar tart was also pretty tasty.
