Definitely worth a trip!

Food was delicious and wait staff were polite and helpful. We went at 8:30 on a Saturday night and luckily got seated quickly, every other table was full. I would definitely return if I'm in Toronto again.

Great Italian restaurant in central Tronto. Very attentive and friendly service, too. We shared a platter of antipasti accompanied by delicious bread. My fish soup main was to die for. The restaurant allows you to bring your own bottle of wine for a reasonable corkage fee. I'd be very happy to go back.

This is the third time I come here and the food is incredibly good and the service is friendly. Top class kitchen, reasonable prices and good wine selection by the glass. Every single dish I have had is recommendable. Warmly recommended

Went on a Sunday with the family. Special of the day was home made spaghetti pasta with bolognese sauce. A very brave offering for a restaurant. A good one has no deviation from good. An this was good-a solid effort. The only complaint was the parmesan cheese. They used the big box bitter version. Come on man...when you play with... More

We visited this restaurant for lunch since it's open longer hours during the Pan Am games. We were the only people there at first but it filled up quickly after that. We each tried something different for starters and mains, so between us we tasted most of the menu... and I can only say: WOW. This is some of the... More

The place is located on College Street, in the heart of the old Little Italy, an area teeming with restaurants, some good, some bad, some pretentious and some a rip-off. The restaurant is fairly small, but not tiny. I ordered the agnolotti and they were perfect. My date ordered the scallops, and she liked them. We shared a salad and... More

Me and my wife are from Rochester, NY and we often visit Toronto. Recently we discovered La Forchetta Restaurant and since then it became a must every single time we visit. Our last experience there was so good that I had to write a review. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. The service was stunning, very attentive when it... More

My relatives were visiting from overseas. They had picked La Forcheta from Trip Advisory wabsite.I know a lot of good restaurants in Toronto but I have never been to this one . From the door the host greeted us warmly and professionally. Really nice, cozy and modern Italian interior. The service was knowledgeable and very friendly throughout the meal. I... More

I've been here with my girlfriend a cold friday of February and even if we did not book a table they gave us a really nice one next to the window. After taking our coats the italian waiter showed us the menu with the specials of the day and the wine menu with a great selection of wines. We had... More

Wanted to try a new spot as we live north of the city. My Husband and I ventured to little italy and came across this cozy spot right across from the rainbow theatre. We ordered our appetizers of Scallops, Mussels and carpaccio. Excellent start. The warm rosemary bread is exceptional. Mains were Rack of Lamb perfectly prepared to colour and... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
