Simply good seafood, with a complicated decor

You might like or dislike the focus on the woman body on the decor and even the short dress of some of the young waitresses, but the food we were served was quite good. The appetizers (sardine, insalata di mare, seafood soup) excellent, the grilled branzino superb, the spaghettini very good, the... read more

Fantastic seafood restaurant, from the Adriatic coast of Italy. The menu is not huge but everything on it is super delicious. We ordered the fish soup, smoked fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp with garlic and risotto. Each of the seafood dishes were awesome. Risotto was good but I would skip it next time (it feeds about 4 people). The decor/taste... More

The fish at Joso's is world famous, and it should be. The freshest most unique fish are brought to your table by the incredibly well-trained and knowledgeable staff. But, don't neglect the risotto, I had the squid with black ink, and it was the best plate of risotto outside of Rome.

Reservations seem like a really good idea for this quaint, interestingly decorated restaurant. The salad, with it subtle absolute deliciousness, was better with every bite.Try the Octupus, it is a culinary treat. Check out the guest list photos ... You will be amazed who else has enjoyed this fine cuisine.

Joso's has the best fish I've ever had and I've had fish all over the world. They bring a plate to you at the beginning of your meal with all the fresh fish of that day at market price. The staff is well acquainted with the food and had great recommendations. I had the Branzino and it was fabulous. One... More

The decor of this restaurant is quite unusual and filled with artwork that celebrates the female figure, and it is not always tasteful. The food, however, is truly delicious. The service is very personal and the waitress brought all of the different fish dishes to the table to show us what they had and from whence it came. Fish is... More

well I must say JOSO'S is one of out favorite restaurants in Toronto! I love the way they present their selection or catch of the day! They grill their fish Adriatic style with just a little seasoning and olive oil so one can really appreciate the great taste of the fish. Their assortment of fish is unique from all over... More

We also tried the NERO Cuttle fish and Rice for $58.00??? Calamari for $27?? I had three small Octopus pieces for $39.00, The place is Tiny they squeezed (literally)... More

First time at Joso's this past weekend. Loved the ambience, great seafood. Service could have been better as waitresses were very rigid and not very friendly, hosts at the door were great! They were very attentive and took our coats the moment we walked through the door. I didnt give this restaurant an excellent overall review just because of the... More
