Our visit to this restaurant. Everything was top drawer, staff, restaurant it self and of course the food. The food was very fresh and wonderfully prepared and served on warm plates. It was a birthday celebration for me. The staff sang THE song and provided the table with a cake complete with candle! Thank you We will be back

I first met Joso at Club 71 in Yorkville. Possibly 1967 or was it 68. From that time til today his life personifies excellence. Now his son Leo, continues the tradition maintaining the homey atmosphere and excellent cuisine. When you eat here you know you are somewhere special. Cannot wait til my next visit. Hope to see you there.

I have been going to Joso's for 20 years and they always deliver. The sea food is fresh, expertly prepared and the service is always good with Joso's son in attendance. We arrived without a reservation and we fortunate enough to sneak in when the restaurant was packed. We decided to order 4 main dishes for my friend and I,... More

I have eaten here several times, and where to begin. Everything is excellent, I know that is painting with a broad brush, but it is really true. The fish/seafood is fresh, and I appreciate the tray-display brought to my table. The cuttlefish sepia risotto is an absolute must. Two new menu items were added recently, but until then the menu... We've enjoyed coming to Joso's for their fresh seafood and delicious pastas. The whole restaurant is cosy and interesting with the provocative artwork and wait staff blending in. Fresh seafood selection tray is always brought to the table like how they used to do it at Morton's. Maybe it's where I am from , no matter how tasty fish is,... More

Joso's is an interesting space; you can tell that the owner is an eclectic person based on the art work and lay out of the bistro. The selection of fresh seafood is the best I have ever seen in Toronto. They come to your table with selections of daily catch and talk at length about the preparation of each piece.... More

I was looking for a Seafood place as it was Friday during Lent and found this place on Trip Advisor and it wasn't too far from where I was staying. When I walked it the dining room looked nice and I was greeted right away then ushered to the 2nd floor dining room, it was well appointed and linens on... More

In some ways, I can't imagine how Joso's does it. They take fish and only add olive oil and sea salt and they charge big bucks for it. For the price (some of the fish approach two C's), you'd think they'd feel obliged to overdo it, but they don't. Just simply prepared, excellent fish that melts in your mouth. And,... More

This must be considered one of, if not the best seafood restaurant in Toronto! The seafood very very fresh, the wait staff brings out the tray with all the fresh fish of the day so that you have your choice of the freshest fish in Toronto! The restaurant always seems to attract "beautiful people' so waiting for your meal is... More
