Warm wine at the Wine Bar?

We went for wine and appetizers on a Saturday night not long ago. We ordered a cheaper bottle of red. When the wine came, it was warm. I don't mean room temperature I mean warm. We drank a bit but found it unpleasant so called on the waiter to ask him what we could do. He called the manager who... read more

Interesting wine selection offering many varieties and price points. Enjoyed the option to purchase by the glass not only by the bottle - allows for a range of sampling. Atmosphere was lovely and the place was packed. Food was average but the wine menu would bring us back for a glass or two.

My fiancée and I had dinner at The Wine Bar on NYE. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, service and delicious food. We will visit again. Come check this place out.

After reading all of the great reviews for Wine Bar, we were looking forward to a wondeful meal at Wine Bar, but were a little disappointed. The Miami ribs were far from tender and the chicken wings were either over cooked or freezer burned as they were dried out and tough.

My partner & I had spent a couple of hours here one snowy night in November. the restaurant was almost empty because of the weather. The wait staff was very attentive. We carefully chose our wine from an extensive list. One stumble - the red wine we ordered was served in a white wine glass. The menu consists of tapas... More

Went here for dinner before going to the theatre recently. I'd read some reviews and all were good so thought we'd give it a try and we were very glad we did. I love the concept of the small plates and being able to try a number of different dishes. Every one was delicious. I don't remember which wine my... More

We were on Toronto for one night and wanted to have a light dinner. This restaurant provide both a surprisingly large selection of wines and very original tapas.

My wife and I ate at The Wine Bar last night and it was a complete delight! The cocktails were very good, the tapas selection was unique and delicious (the chicken curry poutine was amazing!) and the wine was great. We were there for a couple of hours and ordered their suggested wines with every small plate. All were wonderful.... More

This is not your typical restaurant as the menu is mainly tapas. One option (the one I recommend) is to sit where the tapas are prepared in front of you. When here with my partner a couple of weeks ago we start with a couple tapas and some great wine then kept adding tapas until we were full. Each tapas... More

My sister and I enjoyed a fantastic light dinner here during a business trip. We booked a table easily on Open Table and were seated immediately. Our server, Susan was helpful with wine suggestions and recommended we order several items to share. We chose the squash salad with walnuts, pork schnitzel sliders and the yukon gold potatoes. The serving sizes... More
