I've been to various Jack Astor's locations, and overall my experiences have not been too bad. Although, on one trip to Toronto I made with a couple of friends, we had an awful experience at one of their locations. After receiving our food and drinks, we did not see our waitress come to our table again. Instead, we saw her... More

Love the food here and the service is good with the prices being average. We had to wait a while because of a mix up on our order and the owner brought out free deserts for us to make it up to us.

It's a bar, what should we expect? Server was nice. Dark rooms, loud music. Hey it's a bar. Girls wore short skirts and pushed their bras out. I wouldn't bring my family here, but is watch a game here with a friend.

The music was so loud, I could not hear my friend. We were yelling at each other and even though we asked the waitress to turn it down or turn the speaker near us off, they ignored us. The service was poor and the food mediocre at best. When we completed the customer service survey, we received a nasty email... More

We have returned after the first time, and enjoyed it again. Prompt service, a pleasant patio on a warm day. Fun to sit on the high stools at the long tables in the centre of the patio. The food was surprisingly good - fresh plentiful salads, yummy quesadillas, good chicken dishes. Nothing very imaginative, but good solid choices for lunch.... More

Had lunch there with my wife. It's a good atmosphere -- not too busy that day -- and the waiting staff are all friendly enough. She liked her soup & salad combo, and I liked my spaghetti & meatball dish. But the total was nearly $40! That's a bit steep, to say the least. Also our waitress came to our... More

The food here is overpriced and the really young waitstaff are not attentive at all. The music from the bar area blasts loud and it's quite difficult to carry on a conversation at your table without yelling at eachother. It's clearly a good place for teenagers to hang out and go on dates to, but they'd better have large amounts... More

Usually sit at the bar section, as its more convenient than waiting for a table. This place is usually packed on weekends, so there could be some wait. For UFC and NHL,it is very hard to find a place to sit at the bar, so I recommend getting there before 8PM to find a decent table. The service is consistent... More
