I was pleasantly suprised. I went in not expecting such a high level of food and service. We had the salmon and chicken dinners. We let them know we had to be out in time for hot docs and they told us it would be 25 minutes and they did it! We will definitely be back.

Went for a bite before a showing at the Hot Docs across Bloor Street. Two of us had pizza. If you want people lining up out the door for great pizza (think Libretto, elsewhere in the city) you don't serve what we got. These were like a little bit of doubtful topping on a digestive biscuit. We wondered if they... More

My wife and I waited about 25 minutes to be sat, and I would do it all over again for such a delicious brunch. The service was good, the food was incredible and the prices were more than fair for the generous portions. I WILL definitely be back next time I visit Toronto.

We had the delight of visiting Insomnia on a Sunday after enjoying a musical in Toronto. Both my friend and I were in the mood for trying something different, and Insomnia fit the bill! For our appetizer, we ordered the cheese board and it was a delight - 6 or 7 types of cheeses, a couple types of bread, and... More

They may be insomniacs but they were more awake than we were at 9:00 on a Sunday. Cheery greeting and a good brunch. We had egg dishes, which were well prepared and tasty, and there were other tempting choices, too. Coffee hounds beware: they put cinnamon in it

We eat here probably once a month. If anywhere near the annex, this is always my first choice for dinner. Reliable, bistro style food that always delivers on value and flavours. The regular menu is pretty good and the pizza specials on Sunday are a heck of a deal. The food that really shines is on the rotating dinner specials.... More

I was not blown away with the food and I certainly hated feeling rushed during brunch. I reviewed it in more detail here: http://itannisworld.wordpress.com/?s=insomnia&submit=Search

Great pack to meet up with friends or co-workers as well as a pre-dinner drink! You must try one of their Martinis! I had the French Martini: SKYY Vodka, Chambord, pineapple juice. Most of the Martinis are around 9- 10 dollars, and they're worth every penny. I also got the Edamames as a snack, very good.

We got here at 10.30a for Sunday brunch and were surprised that it wasn't very crowded, but 15 mins later- lines out the door. Wow They wanted to seat us at the back of the lounge, which is great if you're having drinks, but not so much if you are stuck on a couch trying to eat b'fast on a... More

The brunch there is fantastic. I've ordered several things and never been disappointed. The home fries are amazing! I've also been here for drinks at night. They make some really cool mixed drinks and it's a nice spot at night, but the brunch is what really sets insomnia apart.
