First of all, their coffee is amazing! The restaurant itself was a bit cramped, seating-wise, but it is a fun atmosphere. The food was incredible. French toast, especially. Poutine was also excellent, but that I don't have much to compare to.

Nice spot! Very nice atmosphere! Food portion is so huge for the ridiculous price! The waitress was very nice with us! A complete full list of drinks! I like it

If you are looking for a solid brunch in Toronto, Insomnia is the place. Be prepared to wait for a table as this place is very popular among the locals, but the wait is worth it. I generally order a full breakfast with sausage, the portions are great and the homefries are to die for, covered in wing sauce. The... More

I've had chicken & ribs at a number of different restaurants & the ones at Insomnia are my favorite so far. I've been to The restaurant about 4 or 5 times and find the service, food & atmosphere to be consistently good. The staff & management do a good job to ensure their customers are looked after. I look forward... More

My friends and I are avid brunchers and Insomnia is one of our go-to destinations. The atmosphere/decor is very laid back and inviting and you have your choice between regular table seating or comfy leather couches with a low table. The coffee is delicious (hinted with cinnamon) and is refilled consistently. Their caesars/mimosas are delcious and well priced - just... More

Son, daughter and myself (Mum) finished our CN Tower Edgewalk and headed over to Insomnia for Sunday brunch. Son knew the restaurant well as he used to live in the area (The Annex) and was a regular customer at the weekend. Fortunately, we arrived at the restaurant around 10:00am. By the time we left around noon they were queuing up... More

I've eaten here twice now, on both occasions only because I had a coupon. The décor is absolutely lovely, which is perhaps why people have pleasant memories of eating here, but I find it difficult to believe that anyone could really love the food. The food is just bad. I could whip out a whole host of descriptors - cold,... More

Aet brunch at this place many times, and each time has been amazing. I have the eggs beni every time almost. The best part are their home fries. Get the ones with the BBQ sauce, its home made and you will want a second helping. The atmosphere is hip and it is always busy, so get there early, or call... More
