Busy, but pleasant

Ate here because we were going to a play at the Princess of Wales theatre (like many others). Had to come a bit early to get a reservation. I liked the quality and selection of food and wine (especially Italian) at reasonable prices, served by friendly and accommodating servers.

This was our second visit to this location. Both times, it was excellent. We went on Valentine's, and it was extremely busy, but they still managed to provide excellent service, and delicious food (bruschetta, arugula pear salad, pappardelle sausage pasta, mushroom cheese ravioli and cheesecake). We will definitely be back!

I came here with some friends prior to seeing a theatre performance. We got there and the restaurant was fairly empty, yet it still took a while before the server came to assist us. My friend ordered an appetizer, and he completely forgot to bring it. My food looked and tasted like Chef Boyardee, and one of my friends got... More

Went there prior to the show. We had reservations and were seated/attended to quickly. Friendly staff, food was delivered in a timely manner. The chicken alfredo was average but the pasta de mare was pretty good. The venue was full and service was quick - not too many places can handle that. I'd certainly return - thanks for a great... My wife and I came here during the Christmas season hoping to eat some good Italian food. We did not get any! I had fettucine alfredo. The pasta was drowning in this watery, white sauce. The linguine di mare that my wife ordered was not much better. We were served bread and when we asked for more the server took... More

Went there after a show, I agree with the other reviewers about the mediocrity of the food. No - maybe a bit worse than mediocre. Pizza (and I sampled a few) were boring as all heck. Mine was waaayyy too salty, and dry, almost to the point of being inedible. Nobody else finished the pieces I shared with them. Of... More

There was 18 of us for a celebration lunch. Reservations were easy to make. The manager, Nazir was very helpful. The food and service was great. This is a good choice for groups.

We went pre theatre. Food was Ok . Meatballs a little hard. Lamb shank reasonable. Chocolate cake amazing. The atmosphere is where the place fell down. Just a little too much hustle bustle for average food with an upper end price.

We went here for lunch with a group of six before we saw the musical "The Book of Mormon." Dependable service and food. Nothing fancy, but pretty fresh food.
