Went there for lunch, my friend ordered pizza and I ordered a salad with addition on chicken breast. The food was tasteless, after couple of bites I could not take it any more and told my server there is no taste in the salad, the leaves were just oily and the chicken breast was totally bland, not even salt and... We were here a year ago before the renovations... it was small and narrow... the reno gave them a much larger restaurant with lots of seating. Ambiance was very nice... hard to believe this restaurant is in the middle of a shopping center. Even with the room full of people talking, the acoustics were great so that we could hear... More

We had been to this restaurant several times but tonight I decided it was time to rate it. My pizza was thin crust, cheesy with the right amount of hotness and extremely tasty. For a starter, my husband and I shared the mussels in a spicy tomato sauce. Let me say, I wish I didn't have to share! They were... More

Il Fornello is an excellent spot for lunch. They have daily specials and a prix fix lunch menu. We always order from the regular menu. The service is friendly. The salads are delicious. Our favourite dish is the grilled octopus served with white beans, arugula and tomatoes. The dressing is perfect with the right balance of olive oil and lemon.... More

Certainly the best PIZZA you would ever want. Thin sliced and lots of PEPERONI and just the right amount of CHEESE and Tomato sauce. PERFECT. Top it off with a CEASER SALAD and you have the perfect meal.

We had dinner at Il Fornello in Bayview Village on a Wednesday night. We had ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer, my friend had ordered the Salmon with Risotto as an entree and she liked it, I had the Farfalle with mushrooms and tenderloin bits in a creamy sauce, it was excellent. We each had some wine and we finished with... More

We have been patrons of Il Fornello at various locations for many years. We have always enjoyed Il Fornello for the classic decor and excellent food. We had not been to this location since it had been remodelled. We were surprised to find it has been redone inside. It has gone from "classic" to what now looks like a cafeteria... More

Il Fornello, opened after renovation few months ago, with a new ambiance for the better, with spacious feelings and warmth of the staff, always ready to serve you with a smile. It looks and feels more spacious than before. We have been twice, since its opening after the renovation, and enjoyed our favourite choices of dishes as well as combinations... More

I came here for business lunch. They have good menu selection, service was fast and staff really friendly. It is in the Bayview Village Shopping Centre so the location is perfect with lots of parking. Make sure to save room in your belly so you can try their Tiramisu at the end of your meal. :)
