One of my favorite stops on my trip!

Lamb burger with mint and goat cheese is to die for. I haven't been able to stop thinking about since I've gone. Beautiful atmosphere too, loved the outdoor dining area with the heaters overhead on chilly days. I want to go back!!

Just a three minute walk from the Park Hyatt, so a perfect location for dinner for anyone visiting and staying in the area. We went around 7pm so unsurprisingly it was jam packed, but the hostess was very helpful and found a tiny corner in the back that we could use. The lamb was exquisite. And I'd say the Boston... While in town for a work event, we stopped here for a drink before dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff super friendly and quick to serve and the beer was cold and fresh. Excellent choice!

This restaurant is in the Yorkville shopping area. We had soup and sandwich with a glass of wine for lunch. It was so much more interesting than it sounds. Every bite was a treat to our taste buds. The server was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the free wifi was a bonus,

They do not even play All Black games!!? Unsure why they can't pay the extra $30 a month to get the correct channel but really disappointing. No Kiwi beers on the menu, one or two kiwi meals and the food they do have is so over priced and rubbish. Astronomical price for sad looking poutine. Bad service too, grumpy, unfriendly... More

So finally I write a review on Hemingways. This has probably been the 20th visit to this great yorkville pub. I felt it due to share some thoughts of what is good about this place and why so many return. Food is well priced, decent portions, always served hot (funny note I know, but can be a challenge for restaurants... More

This Yorkville staple has good beer options, and prices are decent (under $20 for most dishes). It is not unusual to bump into celebrities at this joint. I recommend you make a reservation if coming with a large group. In fact, I came here with a friend after work and had to wait 20 minutes for a table! The patio... More

Hemingway's, on this cold December day, was fine. It was a decent pub menu...I had a turkey burger with salad, my lunch companions had a club sandwich. The atmosphere was comfortable, a bit dark inside. Service was pleasant, but on the slow side and seemed to have difficulty coping with the volume. I asked myself what was really special about... Hemingway's has been a great tradition for many years. This year we attended the Massey Lectures over at Koerner Hal (Royal Conservatory of Music) and we had a great meal. Great beers and meals, upstairs, friendly informative service and everything was enjoyable. The younger gen (22-24) even enjoyed the whole experience. Always a treat.

I didn't give five stars because it wasn't perfect but we loved it. The service was efficient and the food was really good. We sat outside with one side feeling cold and the other roasted by the heaters. I'm not complaining - that's just how it was. We will definitely go back.
