Lovely Yorkville location, food is so-so

Nice spot for a drink in trendy Yorkville, but the food is rather ordinary. Prices are reasonable and the service was good. But the bits of chicken and sausage in my jambalaya were overcooked, even a little tough. My companions said their meals were good, but they couldn't muster up any real... read more

The worst place ever! The waitress was rude and just wanted to go home! Came here after 10pm for late night food and drinks, and the waitress tossed the drinks and it was too messy... Terrible and horrible experience, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

This is my new go to place when in the Yorkville area. Casual, lovely roof top patio, Good pub food. No pretentious attitude here. Mr. Hemingway would have loved this gem.

We stopped in to get a drink on the patio and get out of the rain. It met our expectations in that regard. The food however was really bad. I only had a salad and it wasn't impressive. Cold, packaged and dried out chicken on top. If you want a drink, its fine. Just don't waste your time on food.

Whilst I have enjoyed the patio here, this seems to be the only thing going for this place, and we cannot justify giving them any more money. They advertise as a football (soccer) / sports watching bar, but I won't be watching any more games here.... tiny TVs, simply awful customer service and management is the worst. Food is mediocre... Lamb burger with mint and goat cheese is to die for. I haven't been able to stop thinking about since I've gone. Beautiful atmosphere too, loved the outdoor dining area with the heaters overhead on chilly days. I want to go back!!

Just a three minute walk from the Park Hyatt, so a perfect location for dinner for anyone visiting and staying in the area. We went around 7pm so unsurprisingly it was jam packed, but the hostess was very helpful and found a tiny corner in the back that we could use. The lamb was exquisite. And I'd say the Boston... While in town for a work event, we stopped here for a drink before dinner. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff super friendly and quick to serve and the beer was cold and fresh. Excellent choice!

This restaurant is in the Yorkville shopping area. We had soup and sandwich with a glass of wine for lunch. It was so much more interesting than it sounds. Every bite was a treat to our taste buds. The server was exceptionally helpful and friendly and the free wifi was a bonus,

They do not even play All Black games!!? Unsure why they can't pay the extra $30 a month to get the correct channel but really disappointing. No Kiwi beers on the menu, one or two kiwi meals and the food they do have is so over priced and rubbish. Astronomical price for sad looking poutine. Bad service too, grumpy, unfriendly... More
