Had a great dinner with a friend and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The servers were beautiful and knowledgeable, attentive and caring? Yeah they were great and the food was good.

Great sushi spot in the business section of the city. Try to get a seat at the bar and watch the boats go round and round. Pick and choose or have the chefs prepare for you! Very busy.

We had a dinner rather than sushi. Salmon perfectly cooked. Tempura just a little greasy but both shrimp and vegetables cooked to the right degree of done-ness. Large portions. Beautiful surroundings and attentive service.

Everything was going well until my husband tried the spicy tuna maiko. The tuna was old. We did not want to make any fuss for two reasons: We were too hungry and after reading one of the reviews below where customers had the same problem an old tuna in the sashimi and the lip service they got from a cook... Dropped by this place for dinner and enjoyed it. Rather than the typical dull conveyor belt, there is a stream with floating boats which present the various offerings. Sushi was fresh and delicious, and this place had much quieter, formal vibe to it compared to many of the alternatives nearby.

This is a great restaurant with beautiful decor and lovely service! I'm not sure if its the location or what but it just wasn't as busy as I thought it deserved. The unagi is a must! Salmon and tuna sashimi were so smooth and fresh, and if you sit at the bar you can watch them make it for you!... More

I generally really dislike Asian food (they mostly have either soy or teriyaki flavours - I hate these flavors). Either way I had to attend this restaurant for dinner, and I ordered the salmon fish dinner, and sushi. Salmon fish was exceptionally well prepared: fresh salmon cooked and glazed to perfection, and sushi was GOOD but not exceptional. We had... More

Like Fune for their quality ingredients and I'm pretty sure most of the staff are actually japanese. Love the boat that floats around with plates that you can self serve. Nothing beats their dynamite rolls. Love that.

My friend and I were a bit hungry after the symphony and impulsively decided to walk into Fune after having looked through its windows. I had never had "conveyor belt sushi" as he called it before. I really enjoyed the experience. It was a lot of fun and the sushi/sashimi and maki rolls were extremely fresh tasting. We also ordered... More

We had a choice of sitting at the sushi bar or a private table. The sushi bar is an excellent experience, watching the sushi chefs, lots of people around one large bar and the best thing is watching the sushi boats come along (just take what you want, and at the end the server tallies the plates to determine your...
