Great place to chill

Fox and fiddle has the typical pub atmosphere in both the decor and staff. With the great weather in August, we managed to get a table on the Patio. Thats the good side of the story, the kitchen is open and serving full menu till 2AM, but the down side of the story is that the food is not that good, I came with a friend at 1:30am the service is good, we ordered chicken wings and buffalo chicken with fries, all plates were not hot, a bit warm,... The service was really good and very friendly. I had a cocktail which was very nice, and my boyfriend had a beer. The food was tasty and the portions sizes were good. I had the steak sandwich on garlic bread that came with a little pot of natural beef juices to dip it in. Overall it's a good place that... More

Stopped in after work for some beers and ended up eating dinner. Good choice of beers on tap and the menu had decent pub grub. The service was fast and efficient. Lots of TV's to watch sports on. The only complaint was that the place seemed a bit empty and cavernous. We were there on a Tuesday night and there... More

My friends and I will head here every so often for some decent pub food and a few rounds of beer. The "Bad Boys" are a great buy especially if you have a few guys drinking. Service is ok. This is a larger than normal Fox and can get very busy very fast. Wednesday night has karaoke which is more... More

Good staff (most important thing in a pub) and a good location (right off major public transit)... this is one of my favorite local watering holes.

My friend, her 7 year old son and I went to Fox and Fiddle for the very first time. After receiving our menus we waited 20 minutes to get our orders taken. We got 2 burgers, 1 pound of chicken wings and chicken strips and one draft beer. We asked to get the wings out first and to our astonishment... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
