The food was not only delicious but exquisicly presented. The beef melted in my mouth, the veggies were fresh and crisp . The pumpkin cake with chocalate mousse for dessert topped off a wondeful evening. I loved the view of the Toronto skyscape through a wall of windows on the 54th floor. The wait staff treated us like royalty.

We went to Canoe for an anniversary dinner. We started with cocktails in the lounge- drinks were excellent, not watered down. We were then seated in the dining room on the upper tier, a table that could have fit four, but they had arranged the seating & place settings so the two of us had a view out to the... More

This place is officially my favourite in TO! The service was amazing, the food was excellent. If you like fine cuisine (yes it is pricy) then this is the place. Service was excellent.

In a word, disappointing. We were expecting much more from a #1 rated establishment. The view is, indeed, striking. The food presentation is visually pleasing and the menu is innovative. The service, however, was downright awful! The sommelier greeted us almost immediately after being seated; bread arrived ~10 minutes later but our server didn't acknowledge us or ask if we... More

I tried to take my parents out for dinner here, and it wasn't open for lunch or dinner on the weekends ... very very odd.

Work transferred me to Toronto, so I looked on tripadvisor and this place was no 1, so I took my wife. It was good, everything about the place was, but it just wasnt great. Maybe it had been hyped a bit too much, but nothing blew me away. The following week we tried Auberge and for me this place is... More

I made reservations for Summerlicious 2010 after hearing all the hype about this place. The view of the Toronto Islands was beautiful and the decor very simple. I enjoyed the subtle Canadian undertones that was a theme in both food and decor. The ceviche appetizer was delicious and the Alberta steak was cooked perfectly. Wouldn't recommend the cheese plate as... More

Lovely Resto, we choose the tasting menu with coctail pairings which was original, very tasteful and excellent value for money. Food was very good especially the ravioli and lamb! We didnt have a window seat so couldnt really enjoy the view of the city but everything else was great! Total bill was bout 320$ all incl

party of 4. Salmon was good , duck liver was good but not the best in toronto. Lamb wasn't that special, beef was good. Over all a good place but we don't think it's #1..
