An upscale place on top of a central business district tower in Toronto, the Canoe offer great panoramic views of Toronto. In addition it serves a very good cuisine based on fresh products and skills. Good wines from both California and Ontario regions complete a good experience. It gets a bit busy and the crowds strolling alongside the table to... More

Had the pleasure to eat here while on a business trip to Toronto. The view from this 54th floor restaurant really is impressive. I felt lucky to be there in the evening as the city and CN Tower lights are fantastic. The bar and restaurant atmosphere is great. The dress code isn't enforced but you'd feel out of place if... My colleague and I went to Canoe on a Tuesday evening. It was completely packed and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very good. We said at the table facing the kitchen and it was brilliant. Not only could we see the spectacular view out of the building we could see the chefs working and the organised chaos that is... More

My wife and I went for dinner..first time back in Toronto for 50years so the view of this "changed" city was great for us. Service was excellent. Food was good, we had the degustation menu. There were 2 memorable courses and the rest OK. Wine list very good. WE found the space buzzy and really noisy, but a good happening... More

Manage to get a reservation for their Summerlicious lunch this year. I have been to Canoe before but always try to make use of their summerlicious / winterlicious deals. Service was great but I feel their normal menu tastes better than the Summerlcious menu. Even though you can't beat the price! The view up there is great so definitely try... More

Since I work and live in Toronto, Canoe tends to end up being an easy choice for a business lunch or a dinner for a special occasion. Over the years, I don't think I've ever been wow'ed by the food. However, with the view and its service, the whole package makes the prices somewhat justifiable.

This was my second experience at Canoe, and it certainly didn't disappoint. I say experience, because that's exactly what it is - it's more than just a dinner when the view is one of the best of the city and museum-worthy 'art' (the dishes) make their way out of the kitchen almost parade-style, serving the entire table all at once.... The view doesn't change, quite a spectacular vantage point over the city, especially for international guests, more so with a window table. On this sample of one evening after a two year hiatus, the food was OK, but not special as it has been in the past. Was Chef having a night off? Nothing was bad, but it was bland compared... More

If you are looking for a known place ,which used to be famous - choose Canoe. If you ,like us , not up to a more up to date research - go to Canoe. Yes, I agree the view is nice! I only give stars for nice starter and main courses we had, however this was over priced and surely... More

The restaurant is very upscale. Belongs to the same group that owns Auberge du Pommier (on of torontos finest). It is more continental than French but does have foia gras! The menu variety is not Great but the view is VERY NICE (it is located on the 60+ floor). The bar looked very alive and the cava is fantastic. Great... More
