Breathtaking views of the harbor and skyline, plus outstanding food from oysters to vegetarian delights to steak perfectly prepared. I walked through the bar/restaurant area which has a lovely, swanky but not stuffy feel... however, our meal was in a private room that shared the same sweeping views. AMAZING food, great wine menu and some of the best customer service... More

As previously mentioned the view is stunning. Seeing the city and especially the island from the restaurant was incredible! The service was also good. I went for summerlicious and was looking forward to eating some delicious food since this restaurant has so many great reviews. I was sadly disappointed. For the appetizer I had the potted trout which reminded me... More

We went to Summerlicious for lunch in July. Though it is a busy time, the staff were all smiles, helpful, and we had so many extra servers, we felt like royalty. The view has been mentioned, but can it be mentioned enough? It is spectacular. I've lived in Toronto most of my life, and have never seen that view of... More

The view is lovely. The food good, but not exceptional. The ambiance was noisy and a bit difficult for intimate conversations. A very good place to eat but not there is a lot of serious competition.

We went to Canoe on a last minute Summerlicious 2014 booking, so limited choice and set menu (and good prices). The view on Ontario Lake is fantastic, the decoration modern but warm and the service friendly, efficient and competent. We had really nice courses and were very pleased by the proposed Canadian wine parings. A great introduction to the best... More

Tried the summerlicious menu last night at Canoe. Terrible. Pana cotta had no flavor, perch (which normally this time of year is a great treat) was overdone, and again had no flavor and a dry flavorless barley and "tabouleh" salad (tiny flakes of tomato and parsley). Wine pairing was nice and service was great, but I can't help thinking that... More

I had such high hopes since Canoe is consistently rated so high. We had reservations at 9:30 pm but were told that our table wasn't ready. We waited until 10, which was totally fine, but we were starving. We told the waiter we wanted to order right away but he insisted on getting our drinks first because the "food will... More

I've been in Toronto twice to visit a friend of mine. The last time wanted to try a local top restaurant so we choose this place. Located at the 54th floor on the TD building, has a great view on Toronto and Ontario lake. The food was excellent, nothing to say. Service is great. Very expensive but value for money.... More

Besides what's inside of your plate, you're going to Canoe for the stunning view of Toronto's bay. We went there to have a drink and appetizers. Summer rolls, Poutine and chicken drumettes, with two glasses of the House Chardonnay. Everything was delicious. Drumettes were a little salty though. But this place is great, and I highly recommend it. If you... More
