Everything hit the Target Square in the Center!

I stopped in without a reservation after coming in to town on the late side. I ended up having a bite at the bar. I received excellent suggestions, such as the signature cocktail (Dill Pickle) which was balanced superbly. I had the steak tartare (Ontario Beef Tenderloin Tartare), which was one... read more

One of the few high end restaurants in financial district with great food and you can see the skyline. A bit pricey but prices on par with fine dining standards.

Elegant and classy, good service and well prepared food, many choices and quality food. What else could someone get to feel more pampered ?

When we first arrived we were given a horrible table next to rude loud business men, I asked to be moved and was then moved to a much nicer quieter table, it was winterlicious, so we ordered off that menu offering we also got a bottle of expensive red from Italy and a few cocktails they recommend, I won't go... Inventive dishes, but each dish is loaded with sodium. Great attentive service. Extensive wine list for Toronto; most bottles are 2 to 2 1/2 times cost.

Canoe is my favourite restaurant in the city, every time we go I wonder why we don't go more often. It's a little expensive but worth every penny. Service is always excellent, food and wine are fantastic, ambiance is lovely. Had mushroom soup to start, delicious, and duck for my main. They brought us sparkling wine because it was our... More

I visited this place several times over the years and I can definitely say it was a delight each time. The staff was great, the view, though very businessy, amazing. It is a great spot if you need a place to talk business or have a date. The food was delicious, the servings were good size and the drinks too.

It's no secret that Canoe is an amazing place to dine. The Steak Tartare is fantastic, the duck egg ravioli are perfect and the halibut will make a steak eater rejoice. The service is extremely good. We went from the bar and changed tables once with not so much as flicker of annoyance from the staff. They really were there... More

What a disappointment! I was so looking forward to an amazing dinner here and i just had a terrible meal. The bread..ho hum, served with a carrot puree that tasted like expensive baby food...disgusting! Stick with butter or olive oil please. Service was okay but the waiter did not even crack a smile. Everyone that worked there, save from the... More
