Great little spot with fantastic service. The patio is cozy and classy at the same time. I had a BLT and I must say - It was the best BLT I have ever had, Sourdough bread, marinated tomatoes, Bacon cooked to perfection. What else can I say, it was fantastic! Cheers.

We arrived, a group of three and were promptly seated, it was then explained to us we had to get our own drinks and food from the barmen...seriously? While the atmosphere is hipster oil, the beer selection is among the best in the city if by selection you like many very good but obscure selections unless you are an ale-ophile!... More

I've been a Volo patron for more than ten years. I've seen it evolve over the years, through some good and bad changes. The transition from Italian eatery to beer specialty is a good one. The beer selection is astounding, but the self-serve approach leaves a lot to be desired, especially due to long waits...reminiscent of pubs in England. But,... More

perhaps it's because I'm 50 and don't display my money on my sleeve. perhaps it's because the wait staff feel entitled to be snotty. husband and I needed some outdoors libations last night and there aren't a lot of straight patio choices in our hood (Wellesley and yonge/Church), so we went to this spot again. If you sit on the... More

Great selection of beers, many of which are micros from Quebec and a nice selection of whiskeys and bourbons. Outstanding meat and cheese plate, one of the best I've ever had. Volo is definitely one of the more sophisticated options in the neighborhood. There is a small patio but it was full the night we visited. On the downside it... More

First went to Volo on a Saturday night just for drinks. Had a very enjoyable evening sampling their craft beers on the large patio. Having seen the food being served around us on that evening we returned on Monday night to eat. We were seated very quickly and a waitress bought over a bottle of water and said someone would... I have not eaten here but the place is amazing. The bar tender is extremely knowledgable about all of the beer on offer and they offer quart size tasting glasses. The patio outside is large, so if the weather is good, it's a really cool place to sit outside and soak up the rays. It's got a pretty cool atmosphere... More

Make sure you ask for a taster - there's everything from hoppy-as-hell to smooth as a duck. The layout of the place is far from ideal, but it really adds to the eclectic nature in the middle of the city. Enjoy the ESB. And the charcuterie plate isn't too bad, if a little pedestrian.

Very cool place. It's has a reasonably sized patio, but in the winter months its fairly quaint. Great ambiance and even better variety of beer. The waiters actually know what their talking about, so I encourage you to ask them for suggestions. The food is a little better than average, but i don't go here for the food. If I'm... More

Always great food. Fantastic ceasar salad with a great homemade dressing. The chicken penne is always a favorite of mine. Service can be gushing or inattentive depending on how busy the place is at the time. Best beer selection in all of Toronto.
