Casual bistro in Kensington area. Small and cozy. Popped in for dinner - no reservation - no problem. The Mussels Marius was great as was the penne. Service was good. Didn't feel rushed. Fairly good wine selection. Would recommend a visit.

Very cutesy place, classic Baldwin appearance. Great soups, sandwiches, salads. Recommend the warm Brie with bacon salad, which was top-notch in my opinion. The service is good, kind waiters. The outdoor tables are small and cute. Great date place.

Popped in for lunch. Atmosphere, service and food were great. Started with the soup du jour and Had the the Mussels Marius as the main with a side of garlic bread. The mussels were listed as an appetizer but the portion size was definitely large enough to be a lunch main course!

I was attracted to Cafe La Gaffe by the informal bistro appearance. I expected good quality food served with a smile and I wasn't disappointed. I was dining alone and had the opportunity to occupy a table adjacent to the tiny cooking area - it can hardly be called a kitchen. Fresh bread and a (small) amount of butter were... More

This is a nice little café in the Kensington area with great atmosphere. We went with a Buytopia deal and were treated very well. I find that sometimes with buytopia deals you don't get the same reception and service. However, they were very friendly, helpful, efficient. The food was good as well. The salad was fantastic, almost a meal in... More

I was there recently. Busy place. Salad was plain.Tried Salmon with pasta and it tasted really good. Their risotto based dish is also yummy. I had lemon cheesecake for dessert and it was fantastic. Ours was a big group and they accommodated us at the patio behind the kitchen.

Our first time at Cafe La Gaffe was for brunch on this past Father's Day. It was definitely a very unique experience. We both ordered lentil soup and blackened salmon. The soup was delicious! Just the right amount of everything. I could not believe the size of the salmon fillet! The mixed green salad that comes with it was very... More

found this treasure a few years ago. I've only been for lunches and am unable to comment on their dinner or services at that time. They have excellent meals, something for everyone. Attentive service; you need to get there early or have a reservation as it's very popular. They also have an extensive wine menu and a wonderful (small front)... More

Great place in Toronto! Average meals between 15 and 30$! Really good cuisine, fresh products and nice cosy place. The waiter was really nice and helpful for the choice of our meal :-) Good selection of wine and beers!
