Wonderful food and great service.

We've been to Cafe La Gaffe a number of times because we love the delicious food and the great service. Our favourites are the calamari, garlic bread, the Louisiana shrimp, plus any of their pastas and pizza. The place is cosy and very comfortable. The tables in the back room are smaller and quite darkness. The chef's recommendation for the breakfast are amazing!

With thanks to Suzanne, and the rest of the marvellous staff here, my fiancé and I have made La Gaffe our regular special spot. We've been eating there twice a month for several months now, and the food and wonderful service have made this a romantic event. Thank you!

We went for a Winterlicious dinner and it was great. I'm not sure what the usual prices are but the value we got for the pre-fix was a steal! I had a nice salad for starter, lamb shank for my main and crème brulee for dessert. My boyfriend had pate, steak and a chocolate dessert. We both ate every single... More

The atmosphere is cosy and professional, and the food is good. Their creme brûlée is one of the best I've tasted, and we shared a bottle of very good wine from their cellar, with assurances of more treasures tucked away for our next visit.

I wasn't sure what to expect. It's got a family feel to it, ie run by a family, and feels a little eclectic (woven tablecloths with a Moroccan feel). It was a Saturday lunch and busy. Service was good, friendly, informal. The food was fantastic, really reasonably priced and super tasty. I had a chicken sandwich that came with a... More

My husband and I forget about this place ... until we remember. We've never had a bad meal there. It's upscale bistro fare with some nice twists. The staff is accommodating and we love the street scape in terrace season. In the winter it's cozy and inviting. I think the only reason we forget about it is that there are... More

Loved this little place. We were out on the patio which had a great feel to it. I had lobster cakes to start and the beef pasta dish as my main and really enjoyed both. Service was fantastic! They were very accommodating to our large group and gave us thirteen individual bills (business trip) without any issues. Waiter was very... More

Great restaurant, great food and very reasonably priced! Would high reccomend. I had the feta and bacon salad and my boyfriend had fish. Both were very tasty and the salad was huge.
