Description: Family owned Italian/Continental fusion restaurant. We have been a staple in the Yonge and Wellesley community for the past 13 years. Just recently we underwent a major renovation courtesy of the TV show Restaurant Takover on the Food Network. Ambiance is elegant and classy without being pretentious or stuck up. Our exceptionally-trained staff provide our guests with fast and efficient service while ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, never rushed. But most importantly, they make sure our guests feel welcome in our home.

I was taken here for brunch on a Saturday morning when visiting from the UK on business and had one of the nicest benedicts ever! My colleague had an omelette and was just as pleased. The fresh fruit was also excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive - helped I think by the fact that my host was obviously a... More

My girlfriend and I ate here and we had lasagna and the linguini with meatballs and it was absolutely amazing. Food was really fresh and the service was wonderful too. I would definitely come back again.

Our family had dinner at the Brownstone Bistro. We arrived at 6 on a Thursday and were able to get seated without reservations. The atmosphere was very nice. The menu had a wide array of choices. My wife and I both had the 4 oz Filet Mignon. As expected it was a small piece of beef. If you are the... More

So I've been here a few times. Decor is nice (should be,I'm pretty sure it was on one of those restaurant makeover shows). Menu is fine. Price is average for downtown. This time we arrived at happy hour. The server was friendly. There were only one other table outside (where we sat) and another inside. The drinks were average but... More

So, I had to catch the World Cup final, and my usual 3 spots in the Yonge and Bloor area are packed. I found this place. I pass by many times, but it is not normally a place I would frequent. But I was desperate to watch the final game. I sit by the bar and they have these 2... More

Lovely place to have lunch or dinner with both indoor and pleasant outdoor seating. The service was exceptional at a good price.

We were looking for a restaurant in the area on a busy Saturday. This place looked nice on the outside, and the menu showed several tasty looking items. We decided to split 3 plates between the 2 of us. We had the goat cheese salad ($12), and instead of adding a chicken breast for 5 bucks, we ordered the chicken... More

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We truly appreciate your honesty in your feedback so thank you. My apologies that the experience was not up to par. Although it is no excuse, this past weekend was Pride which happens to be our busiest weekend of the year. Although we try our best to maintain our... More

This grand old building must have been a Pub not long ago. There is a prominent bar near the front entrance, and the size and shape of the room would be perfect for live music. The current management seems to have kept the cheap furniture, and chooses to save money on tablecloths and menus (photocopies on a clip board), so... More

Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We are always appreciative of our guests when they take time out of their own busy lives to provide us with feedback on the Brownstone. Imagine my surprise when I logged on to TripAdvisor today to find the owner, Marc, had responded yesterday to a favorable review I posted in early April. The surprise was that I was actually there AGAIN yesterday. We must have been sending each other vibes. I wanted to take guests from out of the country to lunch -- a young... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to write a follow-up review. The only thing we enjoy more than reading reviews from guests are reading multiple reviews from guests. Consistency is an extremely important factor for us so to read that your return visit was just as enjoyable, it has got me absolutely ecstatic. My apologies about the salmon but happy... More

Visited this place on the last night of our holiday. We wanted to sit outside,as the weather was very good. We managed to get a table outside and our attentive waiter soon took our order. He brought us a green salad with our drinks, which we did not order, but kept us happy until our starter arrived. We ordered steaks, which... More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We always love hearing from our guests, whether they're from the neighbourhood or visiting from abroad. That's terrific to hear you enjoyed the quality of the steaks and found the server to be attentive, yet not overly pushy. Especially pleased to hear you were able to take advantage of the... More
