Had dinner at Boccaccio the other night with a friend. It was my first time at this restaurant and I chose it based on web reviews and the fact it was conveniently located for both my friend and I. While it was ok overall, I was hoping for a better experience. Firstly, the restaurant was virtually empty despite it being... More

We've been here many times and can't figure out why it's not jammed. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu exceptional, the food superb and prices reasonable. It's a bit hard to find which may be why there aren't more people there. If you like Italian food, do yourself a favour and try Boccaccio.

Roberto is extremely passionate about providing exceptional customer service, and a wonderful hostess. I thoroughly enjoyed my work Christmas party that took place here and all of the staff ensured that everyone was more than taken care of. The food was amazing as well as the drinks! Grazie and salute!

Boccaccio Restaurant is located in the lower level of the Villa Columbo retirement housing centre, They have parking at the front and back and to enter, you go to the main reception area and then down the stairs. The modern design provides a bright and airy environment. The service is quick and the food is very good. We ordered the... More

I hosted a bridal shower here at the back and the middle of the restaurant. The area just fits 40 guests if you have a sweet table. Any more guests and it would be tight. It was reasonably prices. The price includes all tax so you don't have to calculate how much in total for each guest. The staff were... More

Tucked away in the basement of the prestigious Columbus Centre, this 'ristorante' offers seriously good Italian cuisine. We've been there a couple of times for lunch, and each occasion has been a treat. Pasta dishes, with side orders of salad, are reliably good. Most recently, we enjoyed the Penne al Pomodoro and the Cavatelli Bolognese: perhaps not the most exciting-sounding... More

You really wouldn't think to look for a great meal in the basement of a community centre. Even an Italian community centre, but Boccaccio will convince you otherwise. This is a bright, elegant room in the basement of the Columbus Centre on Lawrence West and it's well worth the trek. Order the tagliere di salumi while you look at the... More

We had the opportunity of dining here last week and found the food excellent. In the newly renovated premises the menu has been upgraded and modernised to reflect the ambience. The serviced was attentive and friendly. Every one of the four diners had different appetizers and first or second courses followed by some of us with dessert and espresso. The... More

No longer decorated in traditional Italian style, but an elegant dining room with a totally update decor. If you are lucky, you will find lamb shank on the menu. Five of us went for lunch and four of us (and many of the other patrons it seemed) thoroughly enjoyed the lamb shank special, served with potatoes and fresh veggies. The... More
