Fantastic food, great service!

Booked the downstairs room with Carlos, who was absolutely phenomenal helping arrange our get-together. We ordered from a prix-fixe menu that was wonderful in variety and choices and they even went out of their way to include vegetarian and gluten free options for our guests. The service was... read more

Great reception at the bar from Dave and the ladies. Booked from the Uk based on feedback and not disappointed. Food very very tasty, have the oysters... Dave will ply you with lovely cocktails. Laid back, fun and informal. . Thanks guys see you next time.

It is with disappointment that I write this review, as the menu at Big Daddy's looked really good. The restaurant itself, while having an interesting decor to celebrate it's creole menu, lacked atmosphere as it was completely empty. Whilst this may have put many off, we stayed based on a recommendation from a friend. The food was good, but not... More

At first when you enter the restaurant it was like I entered another world. I was simply amazed by the interior setup. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant to anybody in downtown Toronto. Everything from start to finish was outstanding and I look forward to going back soon!!!!

My husband and I have been to Big Daddy's in the past - about three times and the food and service was always splendid. Last night we decided to have dinner there again as we were off to see a show later in downtown Toronto. We haven't been for about three years and the restaurant has changed. It looks tired... More

We went here before a show at Roy Thomson Hall, having had several good meals, and especially fresh oysters, at the now-closed Oakville restaurant. We sat in the bar, as the dining room was full. I think the sheer volume of Saturday evening local and tourist traffic in this area of Toronto guarantees a certain level of patronage. Our door... More

I wasn't expecting anything from this downstairs restaurant but wow was I impressed. Loved the cocktails to start. The Rum Runner was delicious. Has the lobster grilled cheese and got to taste the seafood pasta. Both were complete hits!! Will definitely return. The service was friendly and fast and our server was knowledgeable. Two thumbs up for sure.

We had an OK experience here. The service and food were nothing special and the prices were average. I don't think that we will return.

I absolutely love Big Daddy's! The atmosphere is so cozy, and the service is always excellent. This has become one of my favorite places to grab dinner while in Toronto. They have some of the best mussels (and I am an East Coaster) and the rest of their food is good as well, with good sized portions. We always leave... More

I immensely enjoy their Monday Mussels and Pint deal, and have come here about 3 times for this now. Also came here with another couple for a double date and we had a great time then as well. I like any place that shows me an atmosphere of another place or culture and Big Daddy's does this well, with their... More
