Good choice

This was a good choice for an early Saturday night visit. Good quality of food and acceptable prices. Strange greeting during reservation and welcoming experience not perfect.

We were at Park Hyatt Toronto for a business meeting and were treated to lunch at Annona - and it was a treat! Pizza of the day was a yummy medley of flavours and the right mix of crispy crust and cheesy goodness, and the lobster grilled cheese sandwich with roasted tomato soup was decadently nap-inducing richness with lots of... The service at this restaurant was inferior. Our server left us waiting a very long time and forgot about many of our requests. Putting the hair found in my mother's food aside, the thing that I disliked the most about this restaurant though was how expensive my underwhelming meal was. My scrambled eggs came unseasoned, accompanied by a small amount... More

I regularly stay at the Park Hyatt when visiting friends and family in Toronto. The hotel's main restaurant is called Annona. It is absolutely outstanding for both its fine cuisine and its friendly staff. I almost make it a tradition to have a large bowl of their steaming hot chicken soup filled with noodles, dumplings and matzo balls whenever I... More

It was a quiet evening with friends. This is a nice spot for a chatty evening. There's not a lot of distraction so you can really focus on the talks you are having with your friends. Food was so-so. I mean, nothing you can't get from a Moxie's or Chopped. The amusing part was, it was mostly an older crowd... More

During my stay at the Park Hyatt I had breakfast here and then treated myself to a high tea. Breakfast was a la carte and had many healthy options. Staff could not have been more helpful nor caring. Had high yea that afternoon, it was an exquisite experience. Very generous serving of pastries and cakes and huge range of teas.

Enjoyed a late lunch after check-in. The restaurant is bright and open. The service staff was extremely nice and quickly responded to all of our requests. My salad was extremely fresh and well prepared. Good list of wines to choose from as well. There is also a small bar for night caps.

I am a huge fan of steaks... I did not expect my stay at the Hyatt to turn into such a nice dinner experience. The steak truly was one of the best I have ever eaten, cooked to perfection. I also had high tea there one day which was OK. Not bad but not as glorious as the steak! :)

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
