Toronto is not a centre for Mexican food, but stumbling upon this place was one of the greatest moments in my culinary life. The food is authentic, fresh and well priced. You can get a wide variety of tacos/burritos including shrimp, goat, chorizo, fish... The interior is cramped, but inviting. There are picnic tables inside if you can manage to... More

A small local restaurant that looks a bit dodgy from outside but inside is a special treat. Freshly made authentic Mexican food. Everything is affordable and tasty. Get the taco lunch special that comes with an axing crispy taco and tostada.

This is one of my favorite restaunts in the city. The menu isn't large buit what they have is perfect. I've been coming here regularly for well over 10 years and I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I love the tamales when the have them. Sometimes in the summer, they even have Horachata. It gets crowded because it's tiny.... More

We visit this restaurant at least once every two weeks in the summer. They have delicious soft tacos, burritos, nachos...mmmm. These guys provide really unpretentious service and great food. The restaurant is often crowded but that is because the food is so good. Last time we visited we tried the pulled pork taco, chicken taco, chicken burrito and beef burrito.... More

If you're looking for an authentic experience this is it. There's something about eating on the picnic tables that makes this place more fun. Tacos pastor are great. Enjoy great service while watching Spanish language television.

I used to live this area, One of my room mates told me this place selling great meal. I ordered beef burrito which is really big and tasty! It costs only 7 dollars or something. The restaurant is located in Korean town but people know this Mexican restaurant. You should try this wonderful food!

Finally got around to checking this place out. We tried the pulled pork tacos, chicken enchilada and nachos. The order came with a bowl of hot salsa (has a decent kick) and a bowl of dressings (onions, hot peppers, etc). The tacos were quite good and the nachos were very different but we loved it. (It might not be for... More

I don't know what the hype was about. It may have just been what we ordered but everything seemed to be very tasteless and not what we were expecting. My girlfriend and I order the Pupusas, Soft Tacos and Tamales. The most flavour we had were probably the tamales, but other than that, it would have been the juice from... More

My standards are really high. I have eaten lots of pupusas in Central America and Washington DC. If I hadn't have done that,I might not have known what I was missing and enjoyed Tacos El Asador more. The bean pupusa was bland. The cheese was better. I enjoyed my fish taco, and I liked that it was made with two... More
