Solid Italian Food

We had a very nice dinner. The food choices were good. Our meals were all nicely put together and tasted good. It was quiet for a Friday night in the summer. Our waiter was fantastic. We would come back again.

This is my third time at little Anthony's and every time the experience has been PERFECT. I took my friend for a B-day dinner and I asked their amazing GM about decorating my friend's dessert and the outcome was absolutely stunning. The dessert looked absolutely beautiful! I truly appreciated the care and detailed that went into the dessert and the... More

Our first visit to Toronto was a little frustrating because of traffic and we couldn't find Little Italy. A clerk at the Eton Center told us about Little Anthony's and we thought we would give it a try since I really wanted an Italian meal. What a find! Very modern, very sleek, but staff was very gracious and even though... More

My wife and I went to Little Anthony's for a light dinner. The atmosphere is quiet and warm, the drinks are excellent and the food was well prepared and tasty. This is the place to go to relax and unwind after a day on the town. Highly recommended.

Little Anthony's is a modern, friendly Italian restaurant with a sophisticated air. This is not an old-style family Italian, but a bright, contemporary place with an interesting, varied menu. There are good seafood and vegetarian options, as well as pastas and salads. There is a selection of wines and cocktails, and service was outstanding. Our server was both friendly and... More

We were three people looking for a downtown restaurant quiet enough to relax and talk without having to shout. This place fitted the bill perfectly, even though it's surrounded by loud, crowded chain restaurants hosting corporate events. I, the hungriest, had the $35 three-course prix fixe menu: the food was in moderate portions, well presented, and tasty. We shared a... More

Everything we ordered from the shrimp scampi and mixed green salad to the salmon, chicken and pasta with sausage was so fresh and well prepared. Cannot say enough about how fresh and well prepared our meals were. We will return!!!

Food slightly disappointing but the wine made up for it! Gnocchi a little soggy and too much, although the sauce was very tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
