Small Place. Great Food

Convenient location from the Sheraton Center. 8 of us ate dinner here while in Toronto for the boat show. The chicken parm was a very large portion, and was tasty and well plated. The place appears small from the outside, and upon entrance. Prices were on the upper end. classy service, and great... read more

A group of my friends and I attended this restaurant for a birthday dinner. We were impressed by the easy to find location and the beautiful decor. We were seated in a private dining area which was great. Only two people in the group of 8 were drinking alcohol, and this seemed to annoy the waitress. She repeatedly asked us... More

A large group of us were treated to a fabulous Italian dinner. It was difficult to select from the nice sized menu. Service was great (I wish I could remember the waiter / host's name - what service!)

Besides good food, lovely presentation, and an energetic yet quiet atmosphere suitable for easy conversation even at a table for 6, our waiter Josh provided us with the most refreshing service we have ever experienced. He attended to our needs with professionalism imbued with a sense of humour that was totally effacing and entertaining. His ability to be himself instead... More

Went here on NYE with my friends. The service was alright. The waitress was quick to ask us if we would like anything to drink. We eventually did get our drinks and I had asked the waitress for another fork as mine had dropped on the ground. She said okay but it never came. As well, we got bread for... More

Stopped in on the way to a night out. As we passed by there were lots of empty tables and we were told we would have to sit at the bar as the empty tables were reserved. We were pressed for time so we had no choice. The bar seats were very uncomfortable and when we left there were still... More

We shared the shrimp starter which was superb. The garlic sauce was perfect. However, the mushroom risotto wasn't as brilliant as I thought it would be given the shrimp. Cheese board was good value. Service and the atmosphere are spot on.

Looking to go on a date? Comsider a bacon wrapped date, or two. You won't be sorry. Little Anthony's has been on my "nice place to eat while in Toronto." list for some time. I just love the spaghetti and meat sauce. It's my comfort food. That combination is not on the menu, but the good folks here have always... More

Light Italian dining. Not great, but not horrible, limited menu options and so so service. I work across the street, so have given them lost of chances, my advice, up your service level with better service, make the manager get out on the floor and see what's happening and greet guests. Expand your menu!!

I have been coming here over the last 15 years. Italian. Old School. A touch on the pricey side but it is the financial district so in line with restaurants in the area. What sets it apart is the friendly warm service, a nice warm inviting room, and good food. Desserts are great and well worth it. I didn't have... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
