Not quite there.

We arrived right at opening time on a week-end evening. No hostess available for a few minutes. A passing staff member said she would arrive shortly and she did. Within 10 minutes, several other tables were occupied. The bread was delicious and I understand that they have their own bakery. Our... read more

Jump has long been one of my favourite restaurants for lunch with colleagues, clients and friends. They have changed their menu, and so far, not impressive. I have always loved their vegan curry dish but today's lunch included noodles in a very liquid sauce - quite a boring dish. And, despite my best efforts it was a messy disaster to... More

We went for winterlicious and with that in mind it was reasonable value. Wine was overpriced but need some for the night out :) Service was very good and the food was very good. Overall a nice place for the evening out.

This is one of the pricier restaurants but worth the money. Service is excellent, and so is the food. I visited twice and wasn't disappointed. If you can sit outside, you will discover Commerce Court! Kind of unexpected in the middle of the Bay St hustle and bustle. My husband really enjoyed it. You can visit the original CIBC building... My husband and I went to the Jump Restaurant during our 1 night stay in downtown Toronto. We used Open Table to make our reservation and sadly there was only the 5:30 pm and the 8 pm option. We decided to book for 5:30 pm. Only a few tables were occupied when we arrived and we were surprised to see... More

Myself, my husband and two of our friends went here for a nice night out yesterday to try out the winterlicious menu. We were not impressed. We ordered the fish appetizer and the endive salad as well. The fish was terrible and couldn't really be distinguished easily from chicken...but the blue cheese salad was nice. Then for mains we ordered... More

This was another surprising dissapointment, they did however try to rectify it. The entrance is a bit "meh" due that the restaurant is located in a tower building. We were warmly greeted by the hostess who proceeded to bring us to our table, which was not quite a good table but since the restaurant was not busy (never a good... More

It's been some time since I've visited JUMP. It used to be one of my regular lunch spots. I decided to take a friend last night, who had never tried JUMP before. I was embarrassed that I suggested it. To be fair, the crab cake was delicious. The mains I'm convinced the forgot about because there was a long unnecessary... More

A friend and I went here for dinner on Saturday night. We had a great night from arrival to departure. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and a bonus was that they validate parking. For our meal I had the pasta and my friend the T-bone steak. Both were scrumptious. The cocktails were made to... More

The service exactly what you hope for and expect. The ambiance is business and elegant and the service is always perfect. They know when to leave your table alone as you are in conversation and they know when to come and ask if you need anything else. The Food is Perfect - always. Never ever anything to complain about. Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
