We came to Jump for my husbands Birthday. This restaurant has BYOW so I brought with us a lovely Cab Sav wine to enjoy with our meal - the corkage is $25.00 but totally worth it when bringing a higher end wine that would cost you triple the price on the menu. We were asked if we wanted to sit... More

Went to Jump for a late lunch. Food and service were excellent. What really impressed us was the preparation in the front of the house for the dinner crowd. Every glass in every section was picked up and hand polished. In each section, a plumb line was held from one end of the section to the other to align all... More

I arrived at Jump with my two regular lunch pals on a busy Thursday in the Toronto financial district. We were initially led to a table that was almost laughable. It was a non-starter because my friend couldn't have sat in her chair without being constantly jostled. Having none of that, we asked for a table change. Straight away we... More

My husband and I took our 23 year old son and his 5 buddies to Jump last night. The service we received was outstanding. We appreciated Jump's $25/bottle corkage fee, arriving with 2 bottles of Veuve Clicquot. Jenny, the Hostess, took them immediately and arranged for them to be kept chilled. She was very sweet and very professional. Prior to... More

Attended a corporate dinner event. The service was great and the food was pretty good. Shame the place was infested with rodents. Seriously. Several mice sightings throughout dinner. And when I told management, they didn't care. They said they were aware but it didn't impact the quality of the food. Really??? Don't think I'll be back. I'm sure there are... More

I took a few staff there recently for a going away lunch. The experience was less than I expected. I haven't been there in over a year and things have sure changed. I has a pasta special but it looked more like chef-boyar dee at $16 I probably won't return given the ample options out there

Seven of our team went for a celebration dinner at Jump on Thursday, July 31st. The dinner and the service were terrible. 3 of the group ordered the lamb boneless short ribs which were fatty and almost inedible. 3 of us ordered the halibut which was also recommended as a dinner special. The dishes either sat under the heat lamp... More

The atmosphere and the staff are great, I cannot say the same about the food. The tuna appetizer looked like it was prepared in advance with slices of raw tuna and pretty bland tasting aioli. The others in our party had the oysters and enjoyed them. They were served with a very spicy and quite nice sauce the restaurant calls... More

In the heart of the business district and a great place for a drink and meal. I had the leak and potato (Yukon gold) soup to start and was not disappointed although I like my soup served piping hot. My friend and I both had the Tuesday special, a pressed Mennonite 1/2 chicken with root vegetables and cherry tomatoes.it was... More

I was extremely disappointed with the service we received here, especially being in the O&B brand, I was expecting better. We had reservations for lunch, did not get our water until 20 mins after being seated and an hour lunch break turned into two. The server was not apologetic at all, and pretty much told us to have planned better.... More
