I am originally from Thailand and the food at this restaurant tested more like Chinese food than Thai food. Not real Thai food. Not impressed.

One of the best thai restaurant in North America....their set menus are excellent but nothing beats building up your own menu from the vast choice of the a la carte menu. The green curry chicken and cashew nuts chicken are especially delicious. For appetizer, try the golden baskets for a refined superb taste of Thailand...service was also very good and... More

Our first time going to this restaurant after walking past it ~100 times. The food was great and the ambience was as well. Our server was attentive right up until we had our food, at which point he proceeded to ignore us for 40 minutes while he hung out at a nearby table with his friends. We will definitely go... More

Great service, authentic food! The Pad Thai was available three styles... Not the best I've ever had but didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere.

I have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last year, most recently a couple of weeks ago. The food is always very fresh tasting, service very efficient and the prices are reasonable. At lunch time, one can pick a "plate" with 3 or 4 different choices for a flat rate. The staff are flexible, for instance if you... More

4 of us. My companion and I ordered a la carte. Most dishes will serve two+. I had the Tom Kha Gai (Coconut milk w/ chicken soup) -- excellent and Gai Panang (Chicken with panang sauce -- coconut curry...) excellent. My wife ordered the cucumber salad (unlike many places this salad is full-sliced cuke and a generous portion) a similar... More

Ask Apple’s websearch maven, Siri, about Thai restaurants in Toronto, and she’ll give you something like a hundred separate listings, followed by thousands of comments, compliments and criticisms. Ask about Thai restaurants in downtown Toronto and the field narrows considerably. But in both cases, one name seems to pop up with surprising frequency: that would be Golden Thai, and with... More

Great food, decor and service. The white tablecloths and easy to read menus with many Thai choices was great. We had a large Thai soup which fed three, and three authentic Thai dishes which were delicious. Easy to walk to from the Holiday Inn Express on Lombard.

Waiters don't really know all the ingredients in menu dishes and etiquette isn't familiar to them. Food is ok. We'd describe it as a food court meal looking like a restaurant meal. If you're craving for something they call "coconut jelly", don't expect anything serious from it.

This restaurant is not bad. I liked the atmosphere and the service but the food is nothing special. It might have also been that what I ordered was not so much to my liking. In any case, I think it is a bit expensive for what it is.
