We went for the Summerlicious event and had the Prime Rib - it was out of this world good, best prime rib I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely and the potatoes it came with were really good too. The atmosphere was good, small but busy and the service was excellent. Highly recommend, my only regret is... More

to say , Fred's not here makes the best Pork knuckles in this part of the world , it would be a understatement ! Perfectly marinated , oven broiled with yum fries + nasty ( in a good way ) garlic Cesar salad...WOW ! but be careful these portions are HUGE..I do not care..I still can not resist their corn... We used to to go to Fred's or the companion Red Tomato restaurant downstairs years ago, so we thought we would try it again on a recent trip to Toronto. The Lobster-Crab soup is excellent - just as we remember it. Even though we were upstairs at Fred's, we were able to order off the Red Tomato menu, which provides... More

My wife and I were downtown to see a show and luckily found this restaurant as it was steps away from Princess of Whales Theatre. Right from the start the service was amazing. Our waiter Mark was very attentive and made sure our experience was great. The menu was simple and had great selections. I ordered a Caesar Salad and... More

The service and food at Fred's is always beyond expectations. One of the greatest thing for me as a celiac is the ease in which they can provide me gluten free menu options that doesnt end up making me feel like I am missing out on the good stuff. This also proves that they prepare their own food - everyone... More

Fred's not here because he's probably at bank begging for bankruptcy protection, Service stinks, slow, staff doesn't care. Food was average to say the least. Place was clean which is the reason for 2 stars. Save your money there much better places to go to.

A new restriction in my life concerns gluten, and I found our server to be informed and the roasted brisket to be delicious. We started with the salad wedge. My son had the pork chop with chorizo, which he did not enjoy. Our server was attentive and friendly, as well as helpful. I hope to return before leaving Toronto.

Amazing steak, lobster soup and snappy vegs. Jalapeño cornbread was a treat. Made accommodation for special dietary needs and supplied sparklers with the birthday chocolate cake

We chose to eat here while on holiday in Toronto as Fred was my Grandad's name and he isn't here anymore. Andrew was an excellent waiter, friendly, chatty and helpful. We chose from the set menu on offer, one from the 2 course meal for $30 and a 2 course meal for $40 with a small supplement for the lobster... More

Every time I visit Toronto, I have to visit Fred's Not Here! I take anyone I can to it, so they can experience it too. I come from Alberta, so I know good beef, and Fred's Not Here definitely knows what they are doing! The staff is always super friendly, and the food is always incredible! I absolutely love the...
