Friendly staff - Good food

I had Samossa as a starter (5 big pieces) and were really, also had Chicken Masalla with Salad, I like it, tasty. The service is good, prices is a bit high but reasonable when you try the quality of food.

Great food and great service! We recently visited Toronto and ended up at this same restaurant all 3 nights of our stay. I can highly recommend Ma's chicken and the Shepherds pie.

We had our lunch here and enjoyed it, but asked for duet coke and got ice tea.... Asked for a mild sauce with chicken wings and got tomato ketchup.... Taken quite some time before we got our lunch ... Not very fast for an airport restaurant ... Overall food was good , but will try something else next time ...

Other reviewed seem much more positive, maybe they were having an off day? The good - ? The bad - the service - weird people, brought the wrong food, blamed me for the wrong order, the food was NOT GOOD. The salad dressing tasted like vomit. Literally. It was shockingly bad. I ordered a crock of beef and mushrooms -... More

The pub was not too busy and we were served pretty fast. Hopefully it is just as fast on a busy day. The Crispy chicken was quite good actually and our burger was , well, a burger, not big surprise here.

Just dropped in for beers a couple timed. Good selection with friendly and professional bar staff. Look forward to trying food next time. I like it here more than the other neighborhood bars beside them

Very close to our hotel on the Esplanade. Has a lovely outside patio area. Friendly, fast service. We enjoyed a tasty Shepherd's Pie and a few pints of beer several times at this Irish establishment. Fionn is pronounced FINN. We also loved their apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. Delicious! Very relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. The... More

First of all a note to Trip Advisor. Fionn MacCool's has two locations in Toronto. One downtown (the 70 The Esplanade address) and another in Pearson Airport. People are reviewing both locations here. My review is of the airport location. This has become my go-to choice for a beer and some food if I have too much time to wait... More

We stopped in when we were waiting for a flight and had a couple hours to spare. The line up for Timmy ' was long and although the food is cheaper, we opted for a spot where we could sit down and look out of a window. The food was superb and the service was great, with a friendly waiter.... More

Fionn MacCool's Pearson Airport. It is too bad I cannot do a price comparison between location for the franchise in Ontario Airport food in Toronto is typically very expensive but that is typical of all airport with the exception of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The food at MacCool's was excellent. We were operating in a short time frame so I... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
