Great Tacos and Guacomole

A great food break in Kensington Market area. Fish tacos were excellent as was the guacamole. Not sure what other diners had for guacamole but ours was not definitely not out of the can.

We have been going to El Trompo for years. The food is always awesome and the family that runs the place make you feel welcome and at home no matter how long its been since you were there last. The tacos are great, the pico de gallo has just the right amount of spice, and the coffee is outstanding (not to... More

We only had tacos and they are authentic mexican style. for $10 you get 5 tacos, and I was 80%full after that. We saw guacamole but it seems quite small for the price。

Had the chips and guac, beans, and pulled pork tacos. The food came out in 2 seconds. The guac was canned, the 'regurgitated beans were teriible, and the pork was soggy and dry...

Some locals recommended this spot for the tacos--fun hole-in-the-wall spot (my favorite) with super friendly staff and very fast service. We had the Al Pastor tacos, guac and margaritas. Hit the spot on a hot day! It's a smaller space with some outdoor seating so be prepared for close quarters and a noisier environment.

Hard pressed to find a great taco in this city, despite all the mexican restaurants. These tacos are simple, authentic, delicious and well priced! Our favourite place to eat! Grab a seat on the patio, and a margarita - enjoy the people watching.

Tried this busy little restaurant one evening in the area and the Mexican food was authentic. We tried the pork and beef tacos, both tasty and good. Portions were small and the tacos were around $10 each order of five. Service was good and the place was very busy in the evening.

I recently visited this little hole in the wall and what a great surprise! The homemade soft tacos were very tasty - we had a mix of 3 types. The guacamole is delicious! Next time I am having the nachos as they looked amazing! There is a cute little patio and the waitress was lovely! It was a great experience!
