Guacamole and Margherita and people watching...

Nice place to stop and hang out. Lots of Spanish speaking people here eating. We only had the chips and Guacamole (fresh and delicious, $7.00 plenty for 2 people.) But the food looked and smelt great!

I recently visited this little hole in the wall and what a great surprise! The homemade soft tacos were very tasty - we had a mix of 3 types. The guacamole is delicious! Next time I am having the nachos as they looked amazing! There is a cute little patio and the waitress was lovely! It was a great experience!

We just returned from some time in Mexico and we were craving some Mexican food. This place did not disappoint...in fact if I closed my eyes, I could take myself back. The pork tacos were delicious and the guacamole was good. A great lunch stop, the place was packed but the service was friendly.

My Girlfriend is from Mexico City so this is Her and my opinion. We fully agreed that this is a very rare opportunity to have a meal from home. Service is excellent and the waitresses are from Mexico so fluent Spanish is available. Food is fantastic. It's a small place that fills up fast. We have been planning on going... More

The sandwich board sign in front of the shop said $5 fish tacos. I had really good fish tacos in Los Angeles area and Chicago before. The taste was great BUT the size was not. I kinda felt ripped off because the soft taco shell was smaller than i expected. The staff and cook appeared to be authentic mexicans.

A very cold night in Toronto saw us stumble (oops) into this place. Lovely waitress, nice carafe of house wine and some delicious tacos - all food seemed to come with pineapples, this initially made me think of rubbish Hawaiian pizzas - absolutely not. Great atmosphere, great flavours. Not masses of food but plenty for most - I'm just greedy!

The patio at El Trumpo is one of the best places to "people watch" anywhere in Toronto. Even better, the margaritas are fabulous and the food is great. We usually order a few dishes and share. Last time we were there we picked up a jar of their salsa. Great spot in the market

If you are craving some amazing Mexican food this place is a must. I have been here several times and it never disappoints! The food is delish and arrives at the table quickly. It is a bit of a hole in the wall decor wise but as soon as you bite into that first taco nothing else matters. Did I... More

I had been searching for a Mexican style breakfast in the city and I got very lucky when I found this place because the food is amazing. Cactus salad was a unique and tasty dining experience for me. And the chili sauce that came with the eggs was great.

This restaurant is in the heart of the Kensington Market. There is a small patio for outdoor dining & a small indoor dining room which was full! The decor is quirky; much like we've seen in Mexico. The kitchen is small & open. The menu is extensive; lots of authentic dishes as well as those that are well known to... More
