Only went into this restaurant as a last minute decision and glad we did. The lay-out of the bar and the restaurant was set up really well, the food was excellent and staff extremely helpful, although the wines were a little expensive. Overall though a very good bar and restaurant

As a friends birthday started coming up she did a bit of a 360 and decided that instead of the backyard barbecue we had originally been planning she would prefer to do a night out on the town instead. This left the appointed planning committee in a bit of a pickle as we honestly didn't have much time to find... More

Nice place on the trendy King St West area in Toronto. Great service and pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant has an amazing wine list. I particularly enjoyed the list of Ontario wines. Everything on menu looks great which makes it sometimes hard to pick. I had the octopus starter which was good and shared the seafood platter where I enjoyed the... More

My boyfriend and I had gone to Crush on our very 1st date, 1 year ago and had an amazing time. For our anniversary we decided to go back to where it all began! I had mentioned that it was our anniversary when making the reservation. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who was very sweet and... More

First visit to Toronto and we had a great meal at Crush. Wonderful service, ambiance and food. We were traveling to celebrate an anniversary and have had some exceptional meals in France and Italy and we would put this near the top. The mushrooms on toast was wonderful, willow grove pork chop for my husband and halibut for me....all done... More

This place is amazing! A large group of us went for a birthday dinner last weekend that was put together only days before. These guys were superb. The waitress was amazing, friendly, professional, attentive and funny:) The ambiance was intimate but not in the dismal, closed off sort way. The food was absolutely amazing, as was the wine:) Johnny, the... More

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of having lunch at crush last Thursday. The food was delicious and the Cobb salad was out of this world. Our server was such a pleasure to chat with. Thanks John. We will be back for sure.

Had a group dinner here last night and had a totally horrible experience. We experienced extremely slow service (prolonged wait times between taking our drink orders and receiving them, between taking our food orders and receiving them, getting our bill, etc.), and the food value wasn't great all (e.g., the bone marrow order was just one piece of bone in... Came here after work with some colleagues and started with the Manhattan Flight and share plates; both of which were wonderful. Afterwards moved on to a bottle on red suggested by their extremely savvy wine manager, Tiffany to enhance the flavors in the tender rib-eye. Finished the evening with some truffles that were on the house. Thanks for an unforgettable... More

Went for a business lunch with a set menu. Few bright spots, but was not happy overall. I got the mixed green salad (marinated lentils, shaved fennel + parsley aioli). My verdict: bland and disappointing, couldn’t tell that the lentils were marinated, they tasted like the $1.99 can from NoFrills (where I assume they came from). I know it is... More
