First visit to Toronto and we had a great meal at Crush. Wonderful service, ambiance and food. We were traveling to celebrate an anniversary and have had some exceptional meals in France and Italy and we would put this near the top. The mushrooms on toast was wonderful, willow grove pork chop for my husband and halibut for me....all done... More

This place is amazing! A large group of us went for a birthday dinner last weekend that was put together only days before. These guys were superb. The waitress was amazing, friendly, professional, attentive and funny:) The ambiance was intimate but not in the dismal, closed off sort way. The food was absolutely amazing, as was the wine:) Johnny, the... More

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of having lunch at crush last Thursday. The food was delicious and the Cobb salad was out of this world. Our server was such a pleasure to chat with. Thanks John. We will be back for sure.

Had a group dinner here last night and had a totally horrible experience. We experienced extremely slow service (prolonged wait times between taking our drink orders and receiving them, between taking our food orders and receiving them, getting our bill, etc.), and the food value wasn't great all (e.g., the bone marrow order was just one piece of bone in... Came here after work with some colleagues and started with the Manhattan Flight and share plates; both of which were wonderful. Afterwards moved on to a bottle on red suggested by their extremely savvy wine manager, Tiffany to enhance the flavors in the tender rib-eye. Finished the evening with some truffles that were on the house. Thanks for an unforgettable... More

Went for a business lunch with a set menu. Few bright spots, but was not happy overall. I got the mixed green salad (marinated lentils, shaved fennel + parsley aioli). My verdict: bland and disappointing, couldn’t tell that the lentils were marinated, they tasted like the $1.99 can from NoFrills (where I assume they came from). I know it is... More

We're there for holiday staff dinner night, food was uncooked, portion was so little, waiters refused to bring any hot sauce or something else, as my pasta had no taste, staff cleared dessert plates even it was not done. Toilet has no light, terrible smell. We were their potential business, we won't, recommend our guests to crush

I have been here a few times in the last couple years. The wine list is extensive, with usually a nice variety of wines by the glass that are pricey, but not excessively so for the area. Food is not always consistent, but usually pretty good, with service sometimes great, but often not so much. The recent problem, repeated twice,... More

Poor service. Brought a $130 bottle of Caymus. Server had no idea. Poured it out, didn't let us taste. Sediment everywhere. Not the kind of service I would expect for a so called "wine bar". Aperitif beverage arrived after first course. Wine glass always empty. Had to ask for it to be filled. Disappointing service. Brought the wrong meals and... More

I ate here Sunday night. We had the first reservation after they opened and I was worried about them being slow however they were not. It was "buck-a-shuck" oysters and they were very good. In addition to that I had the ravioli for app, the bison for my main, and my date had the scallops. We also had a bottle... More
