Nice place to share a pizza

We ate here during a recent visit to Toronto, and while the food was OK I don't think I would make a point of dining here again. We each had a salad to start, and then shared a pizza. It was good value, but nothing to write home about.

This place is phenomenal, have been going to this little establishment for years. Always AMAZING service, food and experience. The arranccini balls are a must have, as well as any of the fish pasta or salads. My favourite being the Caesar salad with shrimp.

Well finally we took the plunge and ate here for a late lunch early supper, There were 4 of us. it was ok. Antipasto was good, the arranccini (risotto balls) were awful. Sons pizza was wonderful,... We met friends for a drink and the food was so inviting that we ended up having dinner. Chicken cacciatore with pasta was sooo good. Personal pizza - I can have every night. Ravioli appetizer was to die for. Highly recommended.

We were served as soon as we were seated. They bring water right away, then they asked for our order. Before the meal, they bring 3 different kinds of bread with butter. We had veal and Chicken cesar salad. They were both really good. Prices are reasonable, $15 for veal and $12 for the salad. The patio has music that... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by my boss. He knows Toronto Restaurants, and he was right. This place is a hidden gem. It's in "little italy" in Toronto, in a neighbourhood. Affectionately known as "The Dip". Food was fresh, delicious and wide in variety. You can get sandwiches, salads, pasta or pizza. They even serve breakfast in the a.m.... More

Wonderful location; great view from the patio. Don't bother ordering breakfast though. Seriously - just don't. Customer service was horrendous, the toast/eggs on the cold side. If you go, go to drink and drink only.

A great place for a coffee or to meet with friends in the heat of the summer. Don't hesitate to stop here and have a drink or two. It is truly a beautiful patio in the heart of little italy.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
