I dined at Bymark for lunch last week and was really impressed with the selections I ordered. Lucky for me, soft-shell crab was the feature of the day. The crab was such a treat. The beet salad was also wonderful and the seared tuna with green papaya salad was the best I'd had in a long time. I'd dismissed Bymark... More

Bymark is the downtown outpost of Mark McEwan's restaurant empire and has been serving Toronto's business elite for close to two decades. The food is very good and it's unlikely you will have a bad dining experience here. However, I expected better given the steep prices ($17 to $28 for appetizers and $29 to $44 for entrees). The room is... More

The four of us had a great time at the restaurant. We enjoyed the shrimp tacos, the lobster poutine was interesting and our steaks were delicious. One steak was too raw but my boyfriend liked it when he got it back. The bernaise sauce is a must-have with the steak. It brings it to a whole new level. All in... More

I have had dinner meetings at this restaurant where you can have quiet discussion whether it is business, social or romantic. It is an upper scale restaurant with excellent food and service. It is in the heart of downtown Toronto in the TD Bank. It is also to get to

This is another restaurant review for me. I dined at Bymark, in the upstairs bar and lounge area yesterday. Like many other restaurants in the financial core and that I have now reviewed, I have dined here before, but never written a review. Sit upstairs in the brightly lit bar. Its quiet at lunch and you can have a conversation... More

One of the best burgers ever! Very well run restaurant with great service. Highly recommended! Make sure you have the burger as it is one of the best I ever have had.

My colleague and I went here for their Winterlicious menu and I was a little disappointed. The restaurant itself wasn't too welcoming and it was dark for lunch time. I ordered the butternut squash soup, which turned out to be the best course and the presentation was lovely. The pasta dish was alright - it lacked flavor. I finished off... More

Went to Bymark for Winterlicious, and had the best piece of Beef Tenderloin and veal cheeks! Cooked to perfection, and the most tender piece of meat I had eaten in quite a while!!! Service is phenomenal, presentation is artistic, and generally a great place to dine!

I really enjoyed the drinks at the bar upstairs, which I thought were unique and within the price range expected for 2 to 3 oz cocktails in the financial district. However when I went downstairs for dinner, I I was less than impressed. The tuna appetizer tasted surprisingly fishy, although I normally order these and similar restaurants have never found...
