Fantastic!

This Indian restaurant on Queen West near McCaul offers very good Indian fare in a relaxing, contemporary ambiance. The service is very good and the prices are decent for what you get. It is one of the better Indian spots that I have tried in the western downtown area. My colleagues and I wanted to grab some Indian food after... More

We had a modest family celebration at Babur on a Saturday lunch time. The food and service were very good. The room is clean, bright and inviting. The recipes are variations on traditional themes and while the emphasis is on northern Indian cuisine there are some southern variations that result in the fusion character. The owner, Raj, is hands-on and... More

Babur has excellent food, spiced to order. It is a nice spot, be sure to get a table on the edge, not the middle, of the restaurant. I have never been disappointed here.

Food's taste was not up to the mark. Price is not that worthy as per quantity and taste.Service need to set up proper, it was not that much good. There was just two person to handle the customer. I don't like to go back there.

this was the best Indian food I've ever had. Good portion size, friendly service, good variety on menu and nice decor. Will definitely go back.

Came here for a friend's birthday. The food was very good, but I've had similar quality Indian food elsewhere in the city. The interior design of the restaurant was lovely. The service however needs a step up. None of the servers were friendly, they all looked put out when we asked for things it took asking twice to get water... More

A wonderful experience. The decor is lovely and inviting, light, slightly minimalist with nice touches and surprises everywhere, creating a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The food was excellent, full of subtle, tantalizing flavors. A nice selection of wines, topped by great service - pleasant, prompt, professional with a home feel to it.

Probably the best Indian meal I've had anywhere in the world (outside of India). Great restaurant, great staff and food to die for! Also lots of options for different diet requirements. If you're hungry in Toronto definately eat here at least once!

After a long and tiering day we decided to taste a bit of the ethnic flavour of Toronto by having dinner at the Indian Babur restaurant. My wife had the butter chicken and I had the lamb khorma and they were both excellent! Not too fat and with very good taste. The fried spinach rolls of my daughter were also... More
