Probably the best Indian meal I've had anywhere in the world (outside of India). Great restaurant, great staff and food to die for! Also lots of options for different diet requirements. If you're hungry in Toronto definately eat here at least once!

After a long and tiering day we decided to taste a bit of the ethnic flavour of Toronto by having dinner at the Indian Babur restaurant. My wife had the butter chicken and I had the lamb khorma and they were both excellent! Not too fat and with very good taste. The fried spinach rolls of my daughter were also... More

Truly wonderful restaurant. The owner took great care of our son and his allergies. Food was fantastic. Service was good.

Menu is varied and all the dishes are delicious. We have been here many times and we always look forward to returning. The food, the ambience and the service all combine to make this a special restaurant for a date night. I highly recommend it. All the other Indian restaurants downtown do not compare. Babur is the best!! If you... More

The Babur restaurant is small but interesting, a good ambience and wasn't too busy when we went on Saturday evening, about 6.45. I had butter chicken which was very tasty and flavourful, my friend had lamb chops Karahi which was also delicious but rather a small portion. We ordered one rice and one garlic naan to share which was ample,... More

Full disclosure, I am not an expert on Indian cuisine and I've never really met a naan that I didn't like, but this was EXCEPTIONAL! The garlic naan was just perfect. The Saag Paneer was a close second. My only regret is that my stomach would not allow me to sample more of the menu.

Without checking any reviews and only by stumbling across this place in search of some Indian food, did we happen upon this place. Having eaten in many Indian restaurants, this one appeared to be a bit modern and not so culturally inspired in the decor, but we were all tired from travel, so in we went. What a wonderful surprise.... More

We were recommended about this place as a nearby good place for Indian cuisine. It was very near our hotel, in the downtown area. Nice decoration, quiet environment and good cuisine, although with a twist of western taste. Very good nan, the indian bread and a wide variety of beer and perfect Gin and Tonic.

On the South side of Queen St W, near its junction with McCaull, you will find this little establishment decorated like a Paris Bistro, but selling what I consider the best Indian food in the neighbourhood. It is within a km radius of almost all the attractions (Opera House, Concert Hall, Theatres, Ice-Hockey and Basketball Arenas, as well as the... More

Let me tell you, their Butter Chicken and Murgh Nawabi was the best I have tasted in sooo long. My partner and I enjoyed such an amazing time. Service perfect, decor and atmosphere perfect, and food amazing. Try it out! Not to disappoint! Will definitely be back again, thanks for the amazing food and perfect time. P. S. - love... More
