I don't think anything went right at this restaurant. One appetizer never arrived. The samosa had nothing in it. We were totally ignored by the waiter. The bill was wrong. Disaster in a bucket...

My wife and I went to Bindia for lunch to try out their Winterlicious menu. It was our first time there, so we shared a number of different items, and found them all quite good - especially the shrimp vindaloo which was pleasantly spicy. The portion sizes were also decent. We checked out the regular menu, which appears quite extensive,... More

My boyfriend and I came here for the Winterlicious 2015 lunch. We ordered different items so we could try a variety of things. The portions are actually way smaller than we expected them to be, but the quality of the food was amazing. The butter chicken was delicious especially the sauce which was amazing to dip the naan bread in.The... More

My friends and I came here for a Winterlicious lunch. We all ordered different items from the menu and were very satisfied. The portions are smaller than the usual Indian portions we were used to, but everything was well seasoned, well plated and delicious. After 3 courses, we were all surprisingly full. The naan was delicious but served wrapped in... More

Finally an Indian restaurant with fine cuisine--subtle spicing in well-known dishes. excellent lunch time specials. Well worth the trip from Toronto's "Little India".

My husband and I have just moved to Old Town and have been sampling all of the restaurants in the area. This is one of our good finds. The food is really good and there (oddly) is never trouble getting a seat. We were able to get a last minute reservation on New Years Eve (7 of us)! I tried... More

We had a wonderful experience at Bindia for dinner. This restaurant exudes atmosphere - crisp, tidy, modern with a touch of art and colour. Their menu follows the same pattern. An eclectic assortment of the best in traditional Indian food, along with some innovative touches. The Jumbo Prawn dish is definitely worth the experience. All dishes were well prepared, very... Dinner last night was excellent. We had shrimp, lamb and chicken dishes and enjoyed them all. The portion sizes are perfect. And there advice on how hot each dish would be was bang on. The ambiance is casual, fresh and clean. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this downtown spot.

I can't comment on how this restaurant is run at night, but lunch is very good. The appetizer dish to share is very tasty and light (for a fried dish). The ingredients are fresh and they have a more than reasonable lunch menu that comes with Naan or rice. The owners are sweet, and very personable in a non intimidating way.... More
