We had a wonderful experience at Bindia for dinner. This restaurant exudes atmosphere - crisp, tidy, modern with a touch of art and colour. Their menu follows the same pattern. An eclectic assortment of the best in traditional Indian food, along with some innovative touches. The Jumbo Prawn dish is definitely worth the experience. All dishes were well prepared, very... Dinner last night was excellent. We had shrimp, lamb and chicken dishes and enjoyed them all. The portion sizes are perfect. And there advice on how hot each dish would be was bang on. The ambiance is casual, fresh and clean. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this downtown spot.

I can't comment on how this restaurant is run at night, but lunch is very good. The appetizer dish to share is very tasty and light (for a fried dish). The ingredients are fresh and they have a more than reasonable lunch menu that comes with Naan or rice. The owners are sweet, and very personable in a non intimidating way.... More

How often you see a young English literature student from India writing poetry and prose as chef in mastering and preparing good quality Indian dishes? The chef I am referring to is Chandan Mohan from Bindia Indian Bistro in a nice area near St. Lawrence Market. Four of us dined at this Bistro on October 31. One thing my wife... More

The appetizers and entrees were delicious and plentiful. The staff know their dishes well and made excellent recommendations. Try the Garlic naan with any of the curries. Yum!

4 of us went there for a dinner on a Monday night, in October 2014. I arrived a few minutes after my 2 friends who were already siggin there and having drinks. There was only one other table occupied in the whole restaurant. After I sat down, I waited for 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table... More

Got stuck going here again. This restaurant really sucks: food is crap, owners are sloppy, staff is lazy, drinks are blah... such a bad experience again. WHY do these people with no hospitality/culinary expertise open these places. SO bad. Hate it here.

There are very good Indian restaurants in Toronto and Bindia rank with any I've experienced. It may a bit more upscale than others (not a bad thing) and they put their own twist on traditional dishes. We shared a couple pretty traditional dishes, butter chicken and Paneer Tikka Masala, and both were very very good. And I loved the Vegetable... More

Bindia is in a good location for us as we have family that live near by. We like this restaurant for the location. The food is average. The one dish I do enjoy is the Dal Makhni. The rice is a side which is expensive ($4.00) and a small portion. Many of the other Indian restaurants that I frequent in... More

Despite having reservations for 8.30 pm we had to wait an hour to get our table. Food was average, but the service made up for it. The owner and his wife apologized profusely for the delay and came around often to look after us. Small cozy restaurant with the typical downtown crowd of office goers. The next step would be...
