I visited Soma over the weekend during the Distillery District's Christmas Market. I had to wait outside for under 10 minutes to get it and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait! I scored the last panetonne for my Christmas dinner and four truffles - Feuilletine Caramel, Pistachio Crisp, Butter caramel with Sea Salt and Caramel Kiss.... More

Brace yourself for the chili heat aftershock but do try this unique Soma chocolate offering especially on a bone chilling cold Toronto winter day. Have it "for here" and you will be served a large Bistro style cup with Barrista styled froth atop this treat. I had mine made with milk but you can choose water as well. Watched the... More

Love their chocolate. Can't go to the Distillery District without stopping in at Soma and I always pick up a "Ruby Red Bar" to enjoy with a glass of good red wine. The two were made for each other. Haven't tried the gelato but have had a number of different chocolates and all were excellent. If you like red wine... More

I have travelled around the world and I have to say, I love the chocolate & gelato here. It never disappoints. I go as often as I can...because I need my SOMA Chocolate fix. :) Their chocolate also makes a GREAT gift if you can resist eating it before you gift it. My favourite gift to give as a hostess... They make everything onsite. It's all amazing. And they have unique chocolate conglomerations that leave my mouth watering just reading most of the labels. Made in a traditional style, ethically sourced. Get some!

You must have their chocolate shot in an espresso cup! Just pure melted delicious quality chocolate!! To die for! I also purchased their dusted pecan, and believe me when I say you can't have just 1. Their homemade chocolate is fabulous! You can place your order, sit and watch them make Chocolate right before your eyes! Just lovely!

Yes, it is that good. Whether you want a special treat for a special occasion, or just want to scratch that chocolate itch, there is nowhere better in Toronto, and probably nowhere better in North America! The raspberry bark at Christmas is bliss :-)

Try the balsamic vinegar truffles, try any truffles. Chocolate Heaven. Don't forget the special bars, the chocolate covered orange slices. Try anything and you will keep coming back.

I went here recently and picked up a hot chocolate for about $4- little pricey and not sure it was anything to write home about. Every time I come here its always busy. They do have good chocolate though and its located in the Distillery District which I love... If you are in the area, then stop by. If not,... More
