FANTASTIC

I love Soma Chocolate. The Mayan Hot Chocolate is divine. The artisan small batch chocolates are always fantastic and the staff is super friendly and polite. If you can, you need to visit Soma

Having read the excellent reviews I tracked down the branch at 443 king street. The branch in the distillery district proved elusive. It is a decent walk from downtown- yonge street, along king street, past the theaters and just past spadina . Tried the gelato and the Mayan spice hot chocolate. The latter was good - if you don't like... More

I made it to this place just in time. They were closing up but I still had time to enjoy some awesome homemade chocolate & Gelato. Very cute place & very friendly staff. Even though they were closing they still offered me sample after sample of Gelato flavors. I'm very impressed by everything I saw & tasted here.

As a chocolate lover this place was a must visit while in Toronto. It's in the Distillery District which in itself is an area to visit. The shop is really cool, old brick on the inside. You sort of get in line and the order what you want. It's usually busy so kind of walk by the cases when you... More

Soma has some of the most delicious chocolate anyway. It's great to see it being made in the factory -- great fun for kids and adults.

Everyone agrees that Soma is the best place to buy and eat chocolate in Toronto. Great coffee and the best hot chocolate as well!

They have very good chocolate. I particularly enjoy dark chocolate and they have many options. Their "intense shot" hot chocolate is delicious, and you can prepare it at home if you buy the Dark Side of the Moon package. Other than the chocolates, I really like the spiced pecans.

I live 15 minutes from Soma, and this is my go-to place for chocolate in Toronto! Most of it is made on the premises, and it's delicious! They also sell cookies, Mayan hot chocolate, and gelato in summer. Read my more detailed review here: http://bigtravelnut.com/soma-chocolate-maker-toronto-canada/

Stopped by with my mom before a girls day at the spa - and their chocolate was absolutely mind blowing and beyond compare. What a difference quality ingredients make - and you can taste deliciousness in every bite! I wish they retailed more throughout the GTA.

Soma makes, from raw ingredients to finished product, among the finest chocolates and gelato that I've had in North America and Europe. I live in Toronto and treat myself often. Their offerings range widely from traditional ones such as dark or milk chocolate with hazelnuts, single origin dark chocolate creams and butter pecan truffles, to more exotic choices like Sabai...
