The pizzas were very large and fresh. Interesting flavours too made fresh in their wood fire oven. Small place, so it is best to make a reservation. High end, not your typical pizza place.

I love thin-crust pizza, and Libretto's is seriously delicious. HOWEVER, I must say I enjoy their salads even more so. To share a pizza and have your own salad, a nice glass of water and a shared bottle of wine is pretty much perfection for a Friday night on the Danforth. Not to be missed ...

Went to the Danforth location over the summer. We were warned that prior to sitting down that the kitchen was running slightly behind, but we decided to stick around. Pizza was well priced with excellent flavour and actually came out quicker than expected. Found the server to be a pleasure to deal with despite it being obvious she was under... More

Our family had a pizza party for my son's birthday. They had superb specialty draft beers and the best made to order pizzas on the Danforth. Everything was cooked to perfection. Lots of smiles and good times. The service was first rate. The waiter paid attention to all the little details. Very good value for money. We will be back.

So...much will depend on whether you go out to eat because (1) you want really great food or (2) you want a place with buzz. It was pleasant enough, with its blackboards and the ceramic ovens on full display. The appetizers were excellent - risotto arancini and fried calamari. Service was excellent (and knowledgeable). Decent selection of beer on tap.... More

If you like the thin crust pizza Margharita Naples style then there is no better place in Toronto. The atmosphere is relaxed. Service is top notch. Appetisers and deserts are quite good too.

I went with friends for dinner on Danforth as it was closer to their place. Surprisingly, it was half empty and the place was pretty quiet. We shared an arancini that was very good. Outstanding fried calamari. Disapointing beef carpaccio. We had a hard time finding the wines we really liked. It's amazing that they don't even have a Pinot... More

Every time someone says let's meet at PL I cringe -- I just don't like the food there at all! And last night was no exception -- my sausage pizza was so oily and burnt in spots I left three quarters of it on the plate -- ditto the prosciutto and arugula pizza which although marginally better was still burnt... Oh Pizza Libretto, how do I love thee? Let me count how many times I have eaten in your hallowed halls in the last month... Okay, maybe I don't really want to see an actual count seeing that I have just come from enjoying a wonderful lunch at this establishment. We can start with the fact that my pants are... More

Coming from a city that is known for its pizza I was skeptical. The pizza at this place was a cut above anything I have had before! But lets go back to the beginning. I enjoyed a delicious drink that literally tasted like apple pie! I then shared the Arancini with my friend, the sauce was phenomenal and the risotto... More
