I've only been here once but I really loved this place. The restaurant was quaint and surprisingly, at lunch hour, it wasn't extremely crowded. I ordered the Charcoal ramen with some gyozas (fried dumplings) and the dessert with the coffee jelly. I have to say, I was very happy with all of those items. The Gyoza were having a special... great selection of delicious soups and do get the cheese bread that goes with it. No frills place, seating around one big wooden table. We had a take-away.

We ordered water twice before we got it. Our app was forgotten. It was rang in last on the bill so our server just forgot. I ordered a bottle of saki. The just gave me a large saki jug instead of a 300ml bottle. Then i was charged for the more expensive bottle. Good food fast but poor service.

We ate here during our stay in Toronto - twice - two nights in a row. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. It was such a nice restaurant, the food arrived quickly and we sat at the bar - it was amazing to watch the cooks make our food. The prices were great and the restaurant itself... More

I tried 3 Ramen places in Toronto: Sansotei, Kinton and Raijin and although all 3 are good but I think Raijin is slightly better. The value-wise is good and they have Nankotsu which is my favourite. The soup is rich but not too oily. In fact they are the saem group with Zakkushi which is another very good restaurant my... More

After a tiring journey and walk around Toronto, we found this little restaurant down a street off the main. It did not look much but appeared to be full of people. The menu was really difficult to understand but after some deliberation, we opted for a soup type meal which I guess was the way to go. We needed something... More

I've been going to Raijin very frequently lately. My wife and I have taken a tremendous liking to their tonkatsu karamiso ramen bowl. It tastes fantastic. I previously felt that Sansotei had the best spicy ramen but I now think for pure taste that Raijin tops it. Their broth is incredible. Very rich and creamy. A tremendous example of emulsification.... More

Ramen raijin venue is great, the tables are set far apart, clean and fresh. Service is quick and accommodating. Tried the C Spicy combo which consisted of a green salad, rice with pork dish and the shio which was served spicy and milky. It was not as spicy enough for my liking, noodles seem to be store bought; both more... More

When I found this place I was happy to find somewhere finally i can regularly come and eat in Downtown area. The taste is not great but its okay to eat, the price is inexpensive there. Therefore, For me better come here and eat rather than eat in the food court with same price. Last week I went RAIJIN Ramen,... More
