The meal wasn't terrible, but I can think of MANY more restaurants in the city of Toronto that are far more deserving of the #1 spot. Chef Carl Heinrich is a master, but with the expensive price tag and the tiny servings, I left hungry for more. Forgive me for forgetting the exact names but we ordered from the chalk... More

We had an excellent meal in a very busy restaurant. Not a great location but wonderful food and service. We all had the liver pate and agreed it was excellent. Two had the scallops on special which we're delicious. One had the charcuterie which he said he really enjoyed. The black sesame ice cream/pavlova dessert was good but not sold... More

When the waitress remarks (repeatedly) on how noisy and crowded the restaurant is because she can't hear your orders, it may be time to revisit just how many tables are squeezed into the narrow, bare space. In addition to the din and elbow sparring with a neighbouring table (maybe 6" from ours), the meagre portions (I can't remember when I... More

Richmond Station is one of those hip, local downtown eateries that doesn't disappoint. A limited menu served in an open kitchen environment delivers a first rate "foodie" experience.

Last night we enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in at least three years of dining on exceptional food from Paris to San Francisco, in Toronto's Richmond Station. The highlights of the meal beside the wonderful wine list and the welcoming and truly attentive service, were the scallops special, (incredibly fresh scallops served on a bed of... More

Richmond Station was the first restaurant we went to on our return to Toronto and we didn't need to look at the menu as we knew we were going to have the burger - it's THAT good. We weren't disappointed, the rich and flavorful beef was so tasty and we can't wait for our next visit.

If visiting Toronto, make sure to get your reservation in advanced for a meal at Richmond Station. Great flavors and presentation without being pretentious. It's a smaller restaurant so plan ahead! Also, get there a few minutes early because the entrance doesn't stand out... had to call for exact location and I was standing 20 yards away, but with this... More

Went to Richmond Station with my husband for my birthday. We had the Chef's Table which is a row of seats looking into the immaculate kitchen. To drink we had a 1/2 bottle of the Cremant D'Alsace which was soo good I took a picture of the menu and am trying to find it at the LCBO. We had the... More

We stopped by Richmond Station for a quick lunch based off it being rated #1 on trip advisor. The food was pretty good but not for the price and it was hardly the best food we had in toronto. We are not picky eaters and are typically wow-ed by most meals. The waitress stopped by to take our order (didn't... More

I was visiting Toronto coming from PEI for a culinary competition. I had asked my chef a good place to eat in Toronto and this is what he recommended. We called for reservations that day and we got in. (Probably from a small connection with the chef). When we came in we the hostess was very friendly. I went with... More
