Food is always hot, never a long wait even when they are busy. Live music on some of the nights. Great spot

We got into our hotel late and still needed dinner, so we went to the Irish Shebeen Pub. It wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't go back. We had a decent flatbread, but service was very slow even though it wasn't crowded. There wasn't live music as advertised, but the music they were playing was being blasted over poor speakers.

The service and food was poor. If we had a car and other choices I would not have paid my hard earned money here. We ordered take out and everyone acted like they did not see us for at least 3 minutes while four of the staff sat around talking at the bar. We only order soup and salad and... More

After fighting my way across Toronto through rush our traffic, I needed something to perk me up. The Shebeen pub is right down the street from my hotel so I gave it a try. This place is a bar. There are table but it seems to center around the bar so that is where I sat. The bar tender was... More

Maybe it was the night I went - on a Sunday - but loud, obnoxious live music being played. Poor service sitting at the bar by the waitress that seemed more interested in her phone and walking back and forth between the kitchen and the bar, and never coming out with anything, than being at work. Irish Bar and they... More

The food was amazing. Everything we ate was homemade, even the dressing for the salads, that is a must for me. The service was great and the Guiness was poured perfectly, which is a must for my husband. They even have a great kids menu.

We went with business people; about eight of us and had a great time but the music was a little loud for business discussions. I had the onion soup and all the traditional Irish foods were on the menu.

Came here because it was close to our hotel and was on the hotel suggested list. Lively pub with live music. Friendly pub atmosphere. Fish and chips pretty good. Lots of beer choices. Being from the US, had to try the poutine (gravy and cheese on fries) and really liked it. The server was very friendly, but service was slow.... More
