Breakfast surprise!

We were in Toronto for 5 days and ate here most mornings. The food is good and fresh,I think only once we were left waiting in line for a table but we never really had anywhere to be so it was fine. BE AWARE that this place does get busy around 8:30 9:00 so you will be kept waiting but... More

My first visit to Cora's- ever. I went at 1:00 pm on a Thursday. It was pretty slow- My server may have had 3 other tables. He was extremely aloof. I waited about 5 minutes to get a drink order in. When I ordered, he wasn't sure what I was asking for, so I showed him on the menu. Took... More

I've been to this Cora's location several times & it's never disappointed until today. I've usually gone on the weekend, when it's understandably busy. Today we went at 1pm (weekday) and there were maybe 25- 30 people dining and 3 servers. A slow day compared to my past visits. We were seated within 5 minutes & our order was promptly... More

Great food, love the fresh fruit served with our meals. Our waitress was very attentive, bringing more tea/coffee. We were seated away from a large group. Thee staff is young but very professional.

Found this gem in Toronto and was pleasantly surprised. The servers were friendly and efficient. If you love fresh fruit for breakfast, then this is a must. The food is divine from the Seventh July dish, which is crepes, French toast and a mountain of fruit, it really does set you up for the day. There are also egg dishes... More

My Canadian friend was familiar with Cora as it's a breakfast chain that started in Montreal. The food is made to order and there's plenty of fresh fruit. It is so much better than traditional diner breakfast places. We ate there most mornings.

This place has so many good reviews. I have been here three times; and since the first one I wasn't a fan. The food looks AMAZING, plus if youre attracted to fresh fruit then this restaurant will hook you right there... it did hook me... until I tasted the fruit and food. The three times I was there the fruit... More

I know many people would turn up their noses at the idea of having brunch here, but we were on a budget and spent a fraction of what we would have up the street. Our server was fantastic, chatty and genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. The food is always good and I like that fresh fruit seems to come... More

Must try experience. The food, service and prices are very good. The waitress remember our order from the previous day and even remembered our planed trip and inquired as to how the trip was. She offered not only breakfast suggestions, but also must see suggestions while we were in town. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
