Basic breakfast was not bad but not good. Not to the standard we have experienced at other Cora's. Service was excellent but the food was mediocre, especially for the price (seemed expensive even for downtown Toronto).

Went to Cora's for a breakfast meeting which was first visit. The staff were very friendly and service was great. The breakfast itself was excellent.

I had the $9.99 breakfast - bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast and fruit. With a side of coffee. Staff was friendly and service was efficient. Was more cost effective then eating at the Hotel. There was a heat wearing in effect while we were in Toronto, so the A/C was a bit to cold for us, so it made going... More

Running like a well-oiled machine, service was quick and attentive. Food was excellent and quite reasonable. Cora's adds a lot of attractive fruit to its dishes, a healthy and tasty treat.

Been twice in the last couple of weeks and the results are the same. The food is mediocre at best and the service is ok. They've changed their home fries so they taste half cooked and not crispy enough. Had the ham & Swiss omelet but it tasted so bland! No seasoning at all. Wasn't just me.. My companion said... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
