A friend brought me to Martins for lunch and I really enjoyed my meal - he speaks Portuguese so he was able to order for me. I had the 1/2 chicken and it was delicious. They seem to have a lot of good fish dishes as well - will have to try one next time. I have been told they... More

We managed to get a reservations but if you don't speak Portuguese, it's difficult as most of the staff only speak that. We did have a good meal, pricey but good. Watch what you order as the wine served wasn't what we ordered and the owner (manager) dealt very poorly with this as far as I'm concerned.

Went there because we heard fish was excellent and we love fish. We were seated and a pleasant young lady came to take our order right away but did not speak a word of English. The owner then came over and asked what we wanted to order looking annoyed that we were there. We had been seated about 3 minutes... More

We were there three times, had a grilled seabass for two and Alvarinho, a mostly unknown Portugese white wine you need to try. For fish, there is nothing better to go with. The prices are reasonable, and the extra charge for wine is o.k., you will go away with a perfect dinner for two with roundabout 100 CAD. If you... More

Was introduce to this place by a friend. I loved the food, very generous portions. It is loud and noisy, small and crowded. Have not seen the new expansion yet but is looking forward to going again next month. Rib eye, surf and turf, chicken, fish, all very good. So is the dessert. The custard tarts are so good, freshly... More

Well, food this delicious deserves to waste my time to review it. What just sounds like another portuguese dish gets transformed into a meal full of surprises, one after the other. Innovation, presentation and then the taste... Hummmmm. Since we were a table of 8 we decided to try the most we could. Tried the diversified appetizers, different entrees, unbelievable... More

We visited on a Sunday for lunch. The staff was very helpful and got us a table in less than 10 minutes despite the fact that the restaurant was packed. Yes it's loud but who cares? The food is delicious, colorful and plenty. I noticed everybody was ordering desserts (they looked awesome) but we were too full for that. Next... More

Very good place to enjoy a tasteful, fresh Portuguese cuisine with a great service! Bacalhau de Natas ( cant remenber name in English!) and seafood rice bowl are the best in my opinion!

Martins has become my favourite restaurant and it seems that it is also many other peoples favourite restaurant. If you have not made reservations, then your chances of dining there after 5 pm on a Friday or Saturday are not good. The best time to go there without a reservation would be about 3 pm on a Saturday when it... More
