Kim Moon Bakery is now closed; given my last two experiences, small wonder. The last reviewer detailed the changes to the restaurant which strongly indicate that ownership/management had changed. Whatever the reason, service and food quality deteriorated so badly that Kim Moon went from beingt my only place for dim sum to a "no go zone". On my second last... More

This was always our favorite best kept secret when it came to All Day Dim Sum in Toronto's Chinatown - serving up plump and juicy morsels of wonton wrapped goodness and steamed tidbits for as long as we have been living in the neighborhood. Then one day : everything has changed except for the bakery section that sells over the... More

Three of us went for breakfast at Kim Moon. Combined our breakfast was less than just my meal at Lai Wa Heen. And the food was just as good if not more flavourful... at least for my palette.

My mom has been going to this bakery since I was a little child. I started to go to the restaurant with a friend and the food is so fresh. I've gone here a couple of times on my own for an afternoon snack. There's not much decor but it's clean, food is great and it's economical. The servers are... More

We've been here twice, with great food each time. Not fancy, but fast and friendly service. Dim sum from a menu, so you get just what you want from the extensive menu hot and fresh. We had a feast with hot tea for less than $10 per person. You may be tempted by a treat from the bakery on your... More

The restaurant features the bakery in front and two floors of tables in back. We don't come here for the ambiance; the decor is strictly functional. Service is "efficient": orders are taken and food comes fast, and the servers are polite, if not particularly friendly. The dim sum, on the other hand, is delicious. Prior to discovering this gem, we... More

Fantastic dim dum at fair prices that my brother introduced our family to. It is on 438 dundas st west, just east of spadina near the Art Gallery of Ontario (great place to visit!!!).. The service is reasonable, the decor is nothing to be desired, but the food is worth it. been going for years. ******On the map on tripadvisor... More
