Delicious Coffee

One of those trendy urban cafés with vaulted ceilings and an amazing array of creative muffins, squares, and other goodies. The real standout is the coffee- it's absolutely delicious!

The coffee is not properly made. It is far to bitter and those are for coming from Italian standards. I brought a group of Italian friends, I mean right from Italy and they literally threw out the espresso, it was not drinkable. If it is diluted with milk and froth it becomes ok. The food is not bad but expensive... More

Decided to try it out with my girlfriend. She got a latte and I got an espresso. When we were ready to leave she asked why I hadn't finish and I told her this has to be the worst espresso I have ever had. She took a sip, spit it out, and agreed. If you want an espresso that tastes... More

Place definitely has a laid-back writer kind of feel to it, since it was mostly filled with young urbanites on their Mac laptops at the cool little work tables. Love the fact that all the coffees are made in traditional methods and they give all the options: French press, pour over, etc. Espresso macchiato had excellent flavour but could have... More

This coffee shop is quite dark inside. Fortunately the had a patio outside that was not yet completely open and connected to the shop, but you can walk outside the shop with your coffee to drink it outside. The latte comes in only one size, and it is quite small. It would have been OK if it was not served... More

Visited the Spadina location for the first time and contrarty to how it appeas from outside, it was very small and uninviting as far as other coffee shops (and ambience go). The two large communal tables were basically monopolized by folks using it as a private office, so not really lending to others dropping by and wanting to enjoy a... More

Whether I'm alone doing homework, or with friends gossiping, or on a first date, this cafe is irreplaceable. I love the atmosphere, the friendliness of baristas, and their taste of coffee :)

The new location is MUCH bigger - they have moved the large 'barn floor boards' table - so there is lots of room to sit now. It is much brighter - I liked the old place better for ambiance. They have comfy seats now too. The coffee is still fabulous - it is a treat to see them finish off... More

Beautiful latte and quiet, attentive service. Perfect design in the foam. Wish we'd stayed to eat, too.

Stumbled on this by accident when out for a walk and what a find. I love coffee and this place makes superb coffee. It is housed in a basement and is pretty small. We visited twice. Once just for coffee and then returned for breakfast. During both visits we drank, espresso, Latte, Americano coffee and ate Raspberry Oat bar, Chocolate... More
