I went here for Summerlicious and had low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! Lunch was only $15 and I received very generous portions. To start, I had their salad, for my main I had the burger and for dessert I had the brownie and ice cream. The 3 other people that I went with were also very impressed with the... More

Having eaten here twice before, I was expecting both good service and quality grub. On arrival we were offered "anywhere you like" other than the table of 6 already seated. We ordered one starter and two mains. After a few minutes - the spring rolls were "off". (we have a big party upstairs) I would have believed this had the... More

Went here on date night. Googled looking for local restaurants in the area and Smith came up. Went in not knowing what to expect. Immediately thought I wouldn't like it. Quaint space, very cozy with "hipster" modern classic euro retro design. I'm not a fan of small spaces. It was quite packed. We sat down and noticed that the "newspapers"... More

Walking from town suite hotel looking for breakfast, we saw a sandwich board advert. Went up the steps and there were 2 doors, 2 restaurants. We chose smith and had a great breakfast. We were back at hotel and looking for early dinner so went back. The menu was not big but varied and staff were good. Ambience really nice.... More

Wow! The doughnuts were to die for! The Brisket Hash was amazing! The Omelette and Frittata were also very yummy - healthier - options. Drink menu was great too! The service was kind of unimpressive but forgivable.

It is a very nice space, but they serve small portions lacking of taste. The warm olives with garlic & rosemary were just that, warm, no taste of garlic or rosemary. The shrimp cocktail really bland with supermarket sauce. The Tuna Tartare was missing the chillies as described in the menu, but the sweet potato chips were good. The Smith... More

I love everything about this place. I've been here 3 times, the first time was for dinner. My partner and I sat on the patio on the alley.. Such beautifully decorated with stringed lights above and tea light candles everywhere, it was very romantic. Music was playing at just the right volume. I can't recall what I had for dinner,... We came here as a group of six people to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a table booked for 8.30pm but it was Winterlicious and it took a good 30 mins for us to be moved to the bar upstairs. I contemplated leaving after the officious woman at the front desk almost scared us off but the great bar... More

We've been twice now, for brunch. First we went with friends and I had a "Smith" breakfast: usual eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, bit of fruit. A lot of food. Today I got the Eggs Benedict: pea meal bacon, poached eggs and a leek sauce. Again, more food than I could finish. Last time we had the donuts. Delicious. Their espresso... More

Maybe because we were eating early but the staff all seemed more interested in chatting at the bar than taking care of us. You can get steak tartar but not a rare hamburger? I guess I understand but it is strange. The bun on the burger was kind of falling apart, I ended up eating it with a knife and... More
