Good food; average service

Good client dinner. Steak was above average and pricing wasn't exorbitant. Consistent with earlier reviews, service was a bit slow.

Not to play on words but I did have an amazing steak just like I asked for it "very well done". Not only did they have a great selection of meats for us carnivore lovers out there but they also have a incredible collection of seafood as well. To complement the seafood for our crustacean friends they have oysters and... More

We visited this for New Year Eve and it was absolutely delicious, the seafood tower had so much variety and was delicious and amazing to the eye! The oysters rockefeller were some of the best I've had and melt in your mouth, Highly recommended!

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our dinner. Our server Monty was incredibly helpful and polite, and his recommendations were spot on. We had the crab cake, charcuterie board, arctic char special, and salmon with risotto side. Everything was delicious and the portions were quite big compared to similar places. We would happily recommend The Shore Club!

Excellent service and the food was outstanding. The Lobster Bisque was rich in flavor but not overly heavy or creamy. Excellent Halibut, I only wish there was more Burre Blanc. The service was wonderful, timely, and knowledgeable. The Shore Club also had a great wine and cocktail list! I would highly recommend The Shore Club!

The dining room is pretty upscale although you are not far from their noisy bar. Our waiter was very good. The food was not. I had my ol' steakhouse yardstick; filet mignon, ceasar salad and fries (in this case shoestring potatoes). In a nutshell. An average steak, edible potatoes and a terrible attempt at the salad. The salad was the... More

The place gets you as soon as you enter. The hostesses are very polite and will guide you to your table. The server are great as well. The food menu provides a wide variety of sea food options. Even though they provide good potions, the quality of food was average. Their appetizers definitely beat out the main course. We tried... More

First time here and didn't know what to expect. We were early for our reservation and the dining room wasn't open yet but they seated us at the bar until they were ready. The atmosphere is lively, but not noisy. Very nice, modern décor and a wide selection of drinks and apps on the menu. We were seated at our... More

My wife and I were in town for a meeting for me and the craft show for her. We were looking for a nice place to relax and have a nice meal. The Shore Club was the perfect choice. Sometimes you go in and you feel a wave of relaxation as you are seated. You know this is going to... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
