Lounge is awesome!

Been here for drinks party at happy hour. Drinks are really good and price is reasonable.. They also serve you snacks with drinks. Seafood is fresh and delicious. Tried oysters they were fresh, prawns were good but just steamed! Overall Great place to catch up for after work drinks.

Superb dining experience. We had several of the day's dishes as well as a la carte selections, all of which were very good. The key lime pie for dessert is to die for and the service, though a bit slow, was friedly.

For your money, you can't beat The Shore Club. The steaks are of the highest quality, grilled perfectly, and seasoned to perfection. The service is impeccable. The wine list is extensive. Located right next to the Ritz Carleton, it is close to everything and you can cut across the park north to King Street and you are minutes from the... More

I had a good experience here with a charming and knowleagable waiter. We indulged in excellent seafood to start and then went for the steak. The atmosphere was intimate and quiet enough to have a meaningful conversation, yet it was lively. So, for a business trip in Toronto if you stay nearby its a good choice.

Been there several times, usually for lunch, but this time went for a dinner with friends visiting from abroad. Chose the restaurant because it's very clean, the service is very good (I mean they really pay attention to the service) and the location was convenient for me (short walk from Union Station, as I was coming into the city by... We were in the Shore club on a recommendation of the concierge - we were looking for a good combination of a steakhouse and a seafood restaurant - and the Shore club is exactly the place combining it great way. The atmosphere is intimate - tables are sifficiently away from each other. Great service, personal and taking time. Both steak... More

We had dinner here a few days ago and are still raving about the food! The Manhattan Steak arrived as medium as could be and was succulent. The succotash was a perfect pairing with it and I am glad that my wife ordered it. I ordered the cajun mushrooms and while good, they were not on par with the rest... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
